CZECHS TO EARN MILLIONS AT EURO

The Czech squad stands to earn hundreds of millions of crowns in prize money at the Euro 2008 finals.

On top of the basic 187.5 million crowns each team participating in the finals receives, they抣l also get 25 million crowns for every win in the group phase and 12.5 million crowns every draw.

There are also bonuses for reaching the knockout stage, meaning that if the Czech Republic win all six games at the tournament, they抣l earn around 600 million crowns.

At the last Euro, in Portugal, the Czech team received 160 million crowns in prize money, of which the biggest share
