One Tree Hill" stars Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush pledged their love in an outdoor ceremony held at Hotel Casa del Mar in Santa Monica, California. Sophia wore an elegant Vera Wang creation-- a white, strapless gown with a fitted bodice which flowed into a ballgown skirt. A diaphanous veil was fastened to Sophia's brunette tresses, which were gathered together in a loose, upswept style. A bouquet of calla lilies wrapped in ribbon completed the all-white effect and she wore jewellery from jewelry by Alan Friedman. The groom looked stylish in a black suit by Ralph Lauren, which was offset with a white shirt, beige tie and a cala lily boutonniere.

Actress Ashley Scott and producer Anthony Rhulen were wed in October 2004 on a vineyard in Napa Valley, California. Scott wore an off-the-rack Lazaro gown and Rhulen wore an Armani tux.

Barbara descended a staircase latticed with 750 red roses, dark ivy, and ivory lace ribbon and appeared breathtaking in an off-the-shoulder white gown gifted her by friend Donna Karan.

Exquisite and shimmering with thousands of handsewn crystal beads, Barbara's gown, selected just two days earlier, was overlaid by a 15-foot diaphanous tulle veil flowing down to form a train from a simple coronet of antique wax flowers. ""I picked this dress because I loved the delicate crystal beading on tulle. It was so fragile. Donna knows my love of antique clothes, and this dress is reminiscent of the past and yet totally in the present,"" said Barbra.

""I felt like a princess." She topped off the look with a precious Edwardian pearl and diamond choker. Barbara's large Victorian style bouquet was composed of 150 stems of lilies of the valley, 50 white gardenias, Stephanotis vines, and hydrangeas. Gardenias were blended with ribbon streamers beneath the bouquet.

After bidding a ceremonial farewell to her family and her royal title at the weekend, the former Princess Sayako of Japan tied the knot with her 40-year-old urban planner fianc?, Yoshiki Kuroda in a low-key ceremony marking the first time that an emperor's daughter has married a commoner. The bride's modern taste was evident by her understated, white A-line gown with long sleeves, which was said to have been inspired by a garment worn by the character Princess Clarisse in the anime feature "Lupin III : The Castle of Cagliostro." A strand of pearls enhanced the refined look. Tradition was honored at the reception, when the newly dubbed Mrs. Koroda donned a cream-coloured kimono and gold-embroidered sash passed on from her mother.

Tennis star Lleyton Hewitt and TV actress Bec Cartwright became husband and wife in spectacular celebrity affair at the Sydney Opera House. Carrying a bouquet of pink plumeria, which is referred to as frangipani in Australia, the bride made a dramatic entrance at the Sydney Opera House in an Alex Perry creation of Swiss silk georgette embellished with crystals along the plunging V neckline, which was supported with delicate spaghetti straps.

The couple exchanged their vows at the rose-petal strewn San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California. 7-months pregnany Holly wore a sot, flowing Greek-inspired Godess gown draped and gathered in all the right places. She accessoried the gown with a pearl strand in neck and wrist, bejewelled satin shoes, flower in her hair and a bouquet of gardenias and garden roses.

SOCCER ace Michael Owen celebrated his marriage in style yesterday - with a ?500,000 party at home.

The England striker secretly wed childhood sweetheart Louise Bonsall in a private ceremony on Friday.

But yesterday he pushed the boat out as hundreds of guests partied away at his mansion in North Wales.

They included ex-Liverpool teammates Jamie Carragher and Dietmar Hamann.

But the biggest surprise was that Owen's England and Real Madrid team mate David Beckham did not attend.

He was at the wedding of a school pal of wife Victoria in Cheshunt, Herts.

Guests started arriving at Owen's home, Lower Soughton Hall, Northop, at around 2pm.

He had erected a giant marquee in the garden, where revellers danced into the early hours.

The happy couple, both 25, had their wedding blessed in the giant marquee, before guests sat down to a lavish meal.

In a bid to keep prying eyes away, the footballer had booked two different venues on different dates.

They had originally hoped to get married in the ?3.5 million house itself. But they had to drop that idea for the same reason Prince Charles and Camilla abandoned their plans to marry in Windsor Castle.

Licensing laws would have allowed other couples to use the venue for their own weddings.

Owen and Louise eventually married in private in a small room at the four-star Carden Park Hotel, near Chester.

Just a few close members of his family and friends attended the low key ceremony.

They included Owen's mum and dad Terry and Jeanette, his brothers Andrew and Terry Jnr plus two-year-old daughter Gemma Rose.

A hotel source said the couple arrived shortly before 4pm, dressed down in jeans and T-shirts to throw people off the scent. They sneaked into the hotel through the kitchens and - after changing into their wedding gear - tied the knot.

Just a short while later they left through the back door to start the preparations for yesterday's bash.

Before the wedding Michael and his dad were spotted at a local pub where they ordered bacon sandwiches for their breakfast.

The former Bond girl (''The World Is Not Enough'') Denise richards married actor Charlie Sheen in a romantic outdoor ceremony. Her bias cut, antique white satin gown -- featuring a scoop neck, plunging back and a crystal spider-web strap pattern -- was custom-made by GIORGIO ARMANI. A crystal-beaded cropped jacket with three-quarter-length bell sleeves, a sheer, floor-length veil and dramatic train completed the ensemble. "I felt like such a princess," she says. The cream-colored cake, concocted by Fantasy Frostings, featured a 16-in. base of chocolate fudge, a 12-in. midriff banana nut and an 8-in. top tier of white satin.

Actor Robert Downey, Jr. and movie producer Susan Levin exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony held in the evening hours on a private estate in Amagansett, New York. Although the wedding was rumored to be a Flapper-era, "Great Gatsby"-influenced affair, the bride's gown, fashioned with a plunging V-neck and a short train, conjured up visions of 1930's screen goddess Jean Harlow. A diaphanous veil with a serged edge added an ethereal touch to the garment. To harmonize with the groom, Susan carried a bouquet composed of white and purple flowers.
