Nasri bakal sertai Manchester United?
2011/06/07

Nasri, 23, kini dalam tahun terakhir kontrak bersama The Gunners.

Namun, pengurus Arsenal, Arsene Wenger menegaskan perkembangan ini tidak benar.
“Apa yang pasti kami tidak akan menjual Nasri kepada Manchester United.” - Agensi

Hernandez: I owe Ferguson

Javier Hernandez says his future lies at Manchester United, because he owes Sir Alex Ferguson a 'great debt'.

The Mexico star enjoyed a dream debut season in England as his 13 goals helped United to the Barclays Premier League title.

Real Madrid have been linked with a multi-million pound bid to take Hernandez to the Bernabeu this summer.

But the 23-year-old is determined to help United to further silverware in order to pay back Ferguson for helping his career.
Hernandez said: "I'm very motivated after a great season with United.

"From now on I'll owe a great debt to Sir Alex for bringing me to Europe. My dream has not changed.

"I want to win many titles to give back to the team that opened the doors for me.

Young close to United switch

Ashley Young is close to sealing a transfer to Premier League champions Manchester United, according to reports on Friday.

Young, 25, is set to sign for Sir Alex Ferguson's side after he returns from holiday, ending his four-year spell in the Midlands. The Aston Villa winger has long been linked with a move away from the Birmingham outfit and is rumoured to have turned down a new contract at Villa Park.

The fee for the England international is thought to be around £16 million and he looks set to follow compatriot Phil Jones as United's second high-profile capture of the transfer window, although the deal for the defender has hit a snag over price.

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce, who spent eight years as a player at Man Utd and is also trying to buy three of United's players, told ESPNsoccernet: ''Ashley Young is a terrific signing for Sir Alex. There are not too many naturally good wide players these days, and Young is one of the best, so he will naturally enhance the United team.

"But the fact that United are willing to spend big money, at record levels in one go for the club, shows what Manchester United are all about, they are continually evolving.

"They have lost Paul Scoles, and know Ryan Giggs cannot go on forever, but they never stand still, and the way Sir Alex is going about his business at the moment show that he means business. Once again Manchester United will be the benchmark for the new season. Can anyone catch them... well, I would doubt it."

Young scored seven goals in 34 Premier League appearances last season, in addition to scoring twice for Fabio Capello's England team.

Manchester United set to make £5.4m loss on Bebe as striker  farmed out to Besiktas

Manchester United have off-loaded £7.4million flop Bebe to Turkish club Besiktas on a season-long loan with a view to a £2m permanent move.
United shocked the football world last summer by agreeing to meet the release clause in Bebe's new contract at Vitoria de Guimaraes in Portugal just five weeks after he had signed from Estrela da Amadora.
The winger had only played third division football and was available for £125,000 from his old club just months earlier.

Loan move: Bebe has struggled to break into the United side
But the 20-year-old, who grew up in a homeless shelter outside Lisbon, spent most of the season in United's reserves.

ManchesterUnited have confirmed that Phil Jones has signed a five-year deal withthe club following his move from Blackburn Rovers.
The Englishman underwent a medical at the club last week, before jetting out to the Under 21 European Championships in Denmark.

Jones has joined the 19-time league champions for a reported £20 million.

"Manchester United is delighted to announce it has signed anagreement with Blackburn Rovers for the transfer of Phil Jones," said aUnited statement.

"The player passed a medical in Manchester last week and has agreed a five-year contract.
"The deal will be completed once the player returns from international duty."
Liverpool were also said to be in the running for the 19-year-old, but lost out to United last week.
Blackburn, who brought Jones through their youth academy, said:"Much as we would love him to stay on with us, and we made all effortsto convince him to stay, Phil has to finally follow his heart."
"We are extremely happy with his contribution to our team and we wish him all the very best in his future endeavours."

Blackburn boss Steve Kean revealed the club offered to make Jones the highest-paid player in Rovers' history.

"The offer we made him was staggering for a 19-year-old, but it wasn'tthe money," Kean told Sky Sports News. "hil wants to play ChampionsLeague football now and we're not at that level.

"I'm sure we will be in the coming years, and we gave it a real goodtry and made him a fantastic offer, but I understand why he wants to gonow. He goes with our blessing and it's an opportunity for us to investin other young players across other areas of the pitch.

"We were hoping he was going to be captain of our club and captain ofEngland, he's a fantastic prospect and I'm sure he'll be an Englandregular very soon."

Man United to enter Modric chaseJune 17, 2011

Manchester United are considering entering a bidding war with Chelsea for the services of Tottenham's Luka Modric, while it is believed that Manchester City are also keen on joining the race.GettyImagesLuka Modric has been linked to United as a replacement for Paul Scholes

• Redknapp ridicules Modric bid
• Chelsea's £22 million bid

Modricwould be open to a move to Old Trafford, according to his agent, afteran initial offer of £22 million from Chelsea was rejected by Spurs.Harry Redknapp reiterated on Thursday that Modric is not for sale butSir Alex Ferguson, an open admirer of the player, is reportedly set toenter the market for the midfielder.
The Daily Star claimthat United will tempt Spurs with an offer of around £18 million, plusPremier League topscorer Dimitar Berbatov, in the hope of striking adeal. Nikky Vuksan, Modric's representative, said that the Croatianwould consider an offer from the Red Devils, but only with Tottenham'sapproval.
"If that was the Spurs position then we would be happy to sit with the club and discuss for the future," Vuksan told The Guardian."He's happy at Spurs. Any offer that comes for him, it's up to thedecision of Tottenham Hotspur if they want to reject it or accept it.We have a great partnership with Tottenham and there's not beenactivity on our behalf that we would do on our own.
"Everythingis in coordination with Spurs, and it's all up to the chairman, DanielLevy, to decide. [Luka's] under contract, he's happy there, he'swilling to try to win the Premiership with Spurs and play ChampionsLeague [the] next season. He loves the Champions League experience, itwas a great honour for Sir Alex to say something like this and he usesit only as a motivation to continue on such a level," he said.
Vuksanrefused to reveal Modric's reaction to the rejected Chelsea bid whenpressed on the issue, but said it would not be to "anybody's surprise"if a bid of around £40 million came in for his client.
"I'msorry it's inappropriate for me to say what he thinks about it.Obviously he respects the decision of the club," he said. "If you askme, Modric is one of the best and one of the probably most expensiveplayers in the world. He's going to keep improving and get better andbetter."
Former United defender Gary Pallister thinks that SirAlex Ferguson will make a bid for Modric, who he feels would be theperfect man to fill Paul Scholes' boots.
"There seems to be animpending feeling that Modric is going to move and for me he would bean ideal replacement for Scholes,'' Pallister said.
"Theimagination and vision he brings to the midfield makes him a target. Hecan also score wonderful goals as well, which is part of Scholes'make-up. He maybe doesn't tackle as ferociously as he does but he is aterrific talent.
"I'm sure there are a host of clubs who would love to sign him and I'm sure Harry would love to keep him.''
Meanwhile, United are understood to have offered £9.2 million for RC Lens' teenage sensation Raphael Varane, with the French club agreeing to a deal in principal, subject to the player's approval.
