Perodua has introduced two new variants to its UK Myvi line up: the Myvi SE and the Myvi Sport. The Malaysian car maker also announced that the Myvi range, which also includes the manual SXi and automatic EZi, is now Euro 5 compliant.
The Myvi Sport gets a body kit consisting of front, side and rear skirts including “imitation quad exhausts” (yes, that’s the exact phrase used in the press release). Colour coded side mouldings with chrome ‘Myvi’ motifs, chrome door handles and different alloys are the other changes. No rear spoiler, though. Inside, mock carbon fibre inserts are fitted to the instrument panel and door panel switch. Only available with a manual gearbox, the Sport is priced at £7,799 (price includes £1,000 swappage allowance offer).
The Myvi SE is the “luxury model” fitted with dark grey leather. The centre panels of the seats are made from perforated leather, with matching door inserts. Available in manual or auto form, the Myvi SE is priced from £8,399 including the £1,000 trade in deal, which lasts till 31st October. The Myvi is a fair bit cheaper than mainstream superminis in the UK – B-segment car for A-segment money, although the brand counts against it.
The UK spec Myvi is also powered by the K3-VE 1.3-litre engine with 86 hp and 116 Nm of torque. There’s no mention of different figures for the Euro 5 versions. I didn’t know that Perodua is still exporting pre-facelift Myvis until now.

6. Sikap ~ sikap yang tak serius (tak semua ya - jgn cuba generalize pasal ni ya), baik proton mahu pun vendor. Aku pernah pergi ke exhibition yg mana proton sertai berserta dgn vendor2 automotive malaysia, dua tahun lepas di Tokyo big sight, dan tahun lepas di Yokohama. Di Tokyo big sight proton bawak Saga BLM (ada aku tepek gambo dulu), manakala kat Yokohama depa bawak Exora (tahun depan depa nak bawak apa ya...Inspira) ~ nota: kete tersebut dibawa masuk utk tujuan pameran saja buakan utk tujuan sales/marketing since proton tak boleh masuk jepun ~. Aku memang maklum yg mereka tak boleh bawak kereta baru utk tujuan pameran (coz berkaitan dgn kastam, etc), jadi kete yg dipamerkan adalah kereta lama (used). Tapi walaupun kau bawak masuk kete used, pergilah hantar polish dulu, cuci tip top bagai sebelum bawak masuk pameran, ini tak enjin berselemuh, ada lumpur bagai terpalit kat kete Ada vendor tu bawak sample door's handle, so bila dah ramai org test handle tu, patah le, tapi masih dok display lagi hendle patah tu coz hanya bawak satu sample aje

on a product collaboration that would see Proton source a vehicle from
Japan to replace the Waja and Mitsubishi take the Persona and Proton
berita tu berita lama... dan takder follow up pun lepas tu... dan lagi satu... aku pernah baca berita di tahun yg sama tapi dari akhbar berlainan yg mengatakan itu proton baru propos... belum ada apa2 agreement pun lagi.  dan buktinya.. sampai skrg takder pun berita baru tentnag hal itu...  aku bukan tak suka... tapi agak memalukanlah sbb itu baru propos dan cadangan proton sedangkan blogger dok war warkan sana dan sini.
dan sumber terkini dalam tahun ini oleh insider proton pun mengatakan bahawa itu baru proposal.. cakap2 saja... takder apa2 persetujuan lagi eh dari mitsu.  nanti aku cari berita lain tuh... tapi sementara tuh.  sila rujuk sumber ni dul... tarikh 2008 gak...

1. A Development Agreement, to develop a new Vehicle Model for PROTON based on details of work, target specifications, job sharing and time schedule as determined by both parties ("Licensed Product").
2. A Licence Agreement, where MMC grants PROTON a non-exclusive license to use technical assistance and patents solely for the purpose of utilization of technical information for restyling, modification and improvement work, manufacturing of local parts, assembling, selling and after sales services / support of the Licensed Product to be sold under PROTON's trademark and styling; and
3. An Engineering Services Agreement, wherein MMC will provide the work and services for PROTON's manufacturing of the Licensed Product.

At the same time, PONSB has entered into an understanding with MMC in relation to product collaboration for the development of a new Vehicle Model for PROTON. The understanding encompasses initiatives to be taken by both companies to improve both build and component quality for PROTON vehicles. Concurrently, both companies shall explore possibilities on export and contract assembly wherein the parties commit to conduct feasibility studies on the said areas within three (3) months from the date of signing.
