Sources in Milan claim David Beckham will start against former club Manchester United on Tuesday night, seven years after he left Old Trafford for Real Madrid.
AC Milan boss Leonardo has recently found no place for Beckham in his starting line-up and has refused to say whether he will start in the Champions League clash.
But an Italian source told Soccernet: "Beckham will start on the right side of midfield with Pato just ahead of him in a 4-3-3 formation. Beckham has played up front in a three and it hasn't worked - he is too old for all of that running around - but he is better off on the right of midfield, and we think he will start. That's what we have been told and that is what has appeared in the press today."
