T.V.X.Q.'s Single Album Breaks Top-10 of Oricon Charts in Japan
2006-03-09
The music group T.V.X.Q.'s fourth single album entitled "Asuwa Kurukara (Because
Tomorrow Is Coming)," which was released in Korea and Japan simultaneously on
Mar. 8, ranked tenth on the Oricon Single Album Chart on its day of release.
This was the third time the group saw its single album join the top-10 group on the
Oricon charts, following its second single album entitled "Somebody to Love" (7th
on the charts) released in July of last year and its third single album entitled "My
Destiny" (9th on the charts) released in November of last year.
"Asuwa Kurukara," the title song of the group's newest single album, is a medium-
tempo ballad featuring the vocals of the group members. It will be used as the
ending theme song for Fuji TV's animated film "One Piece."
An official from T.V.X.Q.'s agency, SM Entertainment, said, "It's very encouraging
to see T.V.X.Q.'s three single albums join the top-10 group on the Oricon charts,
because it is proof that the group is still enjoying popularity in Japan. T.V.X.Q. will
concentrate its activities in Asia, including Japan, during the first half of the year,
releasing its first full-length album in Japan on Mar. 23."
T.V.X.Q. is currently promoting its newest single album in Japan. It will return
home to Korea late this month or in early April.
