I tengah surf to learn more about the original london bus tour. Dlm its web, it says for first time traveller like me elok naik dari main station so leh find out more about traffic and wheather.  So tgh nak learn more about it. Based on your own experience, kat Waterloo Station ada ker counter nak beli ticket this tour bus nih?  

Sapa-sapa yg tgh online and ada info, please share it out with me ya..

hi Ronnie.. bila u nak travel?  The company I work mmg biasanya guna either Avis or Hertz under our corporate rate. Rate almost equivalent to standard rate kat sini dlm approx RM130 gitu for a normal 1.5 cc sedan or compact car. Tp ada discount la for longterm rental say for 2 wks onwards. In my case, our office in Havant dah arranged airport pick up from LHR that will drive me straight to Langstone Hotel, Hayling Island, where our Malaysian travellers stay as it's located fairly close (about 10 mins drive) to our work location in Havant. Worth going to Clarks Village ek..if masa bnyk lah.. but for short visit like me, I will juz shop at Gunwharf Quays at Southsea dlm 10-15 mins from our hotel.  Di sinipun dah bnyk factory outlets..

Whitelily, IMHO, I rasa the main thing kalau jalan - jalan kat UK / London, is, to me, dress simply. Kinda blend in dengan crowd. Sebab orang kat sana selalu target rich Asian tourists, especially London.

Carry traveller's cheques, handphone with embassy no.

Kalau dah malam sangat tu, better tok sah keluar seorang - seorang.

Thanks Ronnie. Pasal map takpe. Dah sorted out. Got from a fren. It's a map he got from their tourism centre which is easier to refer than the other maps.

Pasal dressing - mmg I jenis dress up lightly. Simple aje with jeans & matching tops asal kena ngan image I sbg muslimah yg menutup aurat. Tudungpun simple. Dan lagipun I hardly wear emas berlian except my wedding ring and a watch. Sling bag I cukup muat for the handphone & camera. Due to short travel, I tak carry traveller's cheques but adalah spare some cash (just masuk dlm pocket jer nanti like Muslyn say) while yg lain guna credit card ajelah.

My plan is to be in London from 10am to 6pm gitu.

cik whitelilly, baca doa sblm keluar rumah ops, hotel. insyaAllah selamat. Whatever clothes you're wearing, carry cash & mobile dlm seluar jeans. kalau org nak ragut bag,.. ragut lah! jgn pakai bag mahal2 plak.. heheh

I think Waterloo station should have ticket booth bus tour tu sbb it's an international station, kan? Visitors fm EU naik train mesti turun situ.

Disebabkan i bukan kaki chocolate, maka, i pun tak beli satu chocolate pun! ramai org ckp Choc london or english chocs sedap. i terlupa plak nak beli. I saw chocs yg nampak mcm sedap (i think mesti sedap) kat Harrods. tapi not only mahal but i takut ingredient tak halal. most of them mesti ada letak liquors sikit.

Ann Summers??   heheh..  you find out lah! tak best ahh i cite kat sini! My friend in London ckp ""BEST!!..." :cak:

btw, if you're think of going to Clarks Village, it's quite far fm the place you're staying. I think gunwharf Quays tu pun dah ckup bagus. Byk shops dia.. Clarks village is in sommerset.  dekat dgn Bath & also dekat dgn Bristol. So, if you're going there, be sure to stop by at Bath! cantik... the only Roman city in UK.  Be sure to drive jln A instead of M. (highway code diorg) Jln A ni jln yg kecik sikit lah. Scenery cantik sgt. Ini dah kira dlm Cotswold region  lah tu.

sesapa ada contact tak cheap accommodation kat kota london nih.  i'll be there early august, initially ingat nak stay kat rumah kawan tapi baru tau tempat dia makan masa 1 jam fast train and 2 hour by bus and it is not that cheap (esp after conversion).  but mainly we will arrive towards midday dah in london, so kira half day rugi la, then kena balik awal ler kan.  so basically kitaorang cuma akan ada max 5/6 hrs jer in london per day.
so kalau ada port yg tak mahal kat london for sleep aje, then better rasanya, at least save our time on the journeys - almaklum, time kat sana in total tak lama cuma 4 hari aje...
would appreciate any information or contacts you guys might have....

Baru balik dari London last 2days.I pergi sana dalam 6hari ikut my hubby kerja.
Alhamdullilah sampai kat custom Heatrow Airport tak ada masalah,I think less than 5minutes semua dah settle cuma dia ada tanya berapa lama kat London and Buat apa?Nasib baik my hubby dah siap print ticket kitaorang ke Paris as prove berapa akan tinggal kat London and after dia notice my hubby kerja kat airlines company terus je dia cop passport kita orang.Even kat security tu pun langsung dia tak check kitaorang pun.

We all stay kat my sister in-law house about 1hour from Heatrow to Kent by car.Nothing special pun kiri-kanan jalan raya dia.Masa sampai tu weather about 15deg tapi cahaya matahari terang sangat.Dah nak masuk winter time tu.

Second Day,we all pi Leeds Castle kat Kent.Memang cantik sangat and plus ada English garden rasa relax sangat otak.Since I pergi London almost twice a year so this time we all plan tak nak spend banyak masa kat London.We all spend almost one day kat sana sebab besar juga Castle nyer tu.

Third Day- I pi Blue Water House Shopping Mall.Shopping Mall ni baru saja buka and the biggest shopping Mall in Europe.Tapi bagi I tak ada la besar manapun.Besar lagi KLCC.Biasa la kat Europe mana ada shopping mall besar2 kan.Banyak la kedai-kedai Uk and Europe brand kat sini.Orang yg gila shopping macam I ni,memang kira heaven juga la sebab all in one roof compare kat Oxford street tu kita kena menapak dari satu kedai ke satu kedai.Tapi my advise siapa yg first time pergi London better la shopping Kat Oxford Street,is good experince.

Anyway,I notice shopping kasut Clarks kat UK ni murah RM80.00 dari Malaysia tapi Body Shop mahal RM20-30 dari KL.I memang buat homeworks fasal harga before pergi UK kali ni tapi all shop macam Topshop,Dorothey Perkins,Warehouse murah dalam RM10-15 dari KL but for Mark and Spencer ada setengah barang lebih murah di KL.For example Jeans murah dalam RM20 di KL.

Fourth Day-Weather about 20deg.I turun London by train.From Cryford station to London take about 1hour only.Sampai saja straight pergi Harrods.My mom kirim barang kat situ tapi I tak beli apa pun.Kat situ semuanyer mahal.Terasa sayang sangat nak spend my pound kat situ.Jalan-jalan kat Bonds Street.Saja jamu mata tengok boutique2 kat situ,nak beli tak mampu.

Fifth Day-Cuaca boleh tahan panas,dalam 24deg. I turun London lagi kali ni I pi Convent Garden.Selama ni Convent Garden tu ada taman ke apa rupanya tempat tu mcm flea market kat Mont Kiara every Sunday and ada juga la english cafe kat situ
Masa I pergi tu diaorang tengah buat Malaysian Weeks.Dapat juga la melepas rindu makan popiah goreng dengan hargar RM14.00 untuk 5biji yg besar nyer 2jari saja.Order juga Char Kuetiow with price 5pound=RM33.00.Tapi rasa happy sangat dapat rasa food dari malaysia ni sebab even i stay with my sister in-law tapi dia dah
30tahun kat UK ni so cara makan pun dah jadi style mat saleh+she chinese so mana la pandai masak kari semua ni kan.
One thing kan bila i kat Malaysian weeks ni i cakap dengan Malaysian in Bahasa tapi diaorang mcm refuse je nak reply balik dalam bahasa juga.Mesti nak speaking.Pelik betul i.
After that I jalan ke Chinatown,nothing special cuma jumpa juga durian and rambutan diaorang jual kat sana.Habis saja lunch terus pergi Hyde Park.Sebab sekarang ni time summer so banyak la "dugong-dugong" do berjemur kat Hyde Park ni.Nak tergelak I tengok diaorang ni dengan bikini dok berjemur tengah-tengah panas.Kalau diaorang ni pakai mcm tu and berjemur kat taman Tasik Titiwangsa mau kena tangkap dengan JAWI.

Hari ke enam and my last day in UK.Morning I sempat pi Blue water House for last minute shopping and finish all my pound before fly to Paris.I pergi Paris via Ryanair at Luton Airport.Masa I sampai tu terkejut juga tengok ramai orang dok melepak kat luar rupanya diaorang dapat panggilan ada bom dalam airport Luton tu.Masa tu dah pukul 2.00ptg and my flight at 3.15p.m.I and my hubby cakap sure our flight will be delayed but surprise nyer after dia buka airport tu pukul 2.30 and kitaorang rush la pergi check in and we manage fly as per schudele time.So effiecint kan.Kalau terjadi kat LCCT tu mau nyer Air asia delay flight sampai berjam-jam.

Tak silap ada 2-3 company.I baru pergi Luton airport last month from London to CDG.
