GLAY appeared in the WOWOW music TV program 'MUSIC LTD.'. The program showed video footage of an interview that was conducted in mid October, just two months after their exciting 15th anniversary concerts at Nissan Stadium on August 15th and 16th. The members talked about what had changed during their 15 year career.
JIRO - I've become stronger. At first, I was always thinking that I must have the answer to everything. Among the members, I was mentally the weakest.
TERU - As the vocalist I tried hard to realize all four members' ideals. But recently instead of just chasing dreams, we've become a band that can express love and warmth. The affectionate songs we've been making lately shows our honest thoughts. It feels good since we're not pretending to be something else.
TAKURO - By meeting different people, and by taking up different challenges, I've been able to grow. With the help of many people, I've matured.
HISASHI - It might not seem like a big difference, but I've become more talkative than before. When I was little, I didn't know what I should say, so I didn't like meeting people. But after meeting rock music and picking up a guitar, I've been able to express my thoughts through music.

GLAY TERU Urges People to Learn More about HIV/AIDS
On November 28th in Tokyo the annual event 'RED RIBBON LIVE 2009' was held to coincide with December 1st's World AIDS Day. GLAY member TERU and popular models from the fashion magazine 'Popteen' participated. TERU seemed to feel somewhat awkward to be on a stage where he wasn't performing. He addressed the 700 people who had gathered for the event. "I learned that if you talk seriously, the people will listen seriously to what you have to say." The model Aoki Eri commented "I realized that it's dangerous to not have proper knowledge about HIV/AIDS. We all must look out for our own lives."
Despite his busy schedule TERU has always made time to attend the event. This year it was his fourth year in a row to take part in 'RED RIBBON LIVE'. "It's important for me to be here and talk [about HIV/AIDS]. As we move on through our daily lives, we need to believe there's goodness in everyone. This event is one of those moments where we can see that."
