1,000 Asian Fans to Arrive to See TVXQ Concert in Seoul
2006-02-08
About 1,000 fans from eight Asian nations will arrive in Seoul to attend the first
solo concert from music group TVXQ.
TVXQ will hold a concert entitled "Rising Sun" at the Gymnastics Arena of Seoul
Olympic Park on Feb. 10-13. The group's fans will arrive in Seoul from Japan,
China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
An official from TVXQ's agency, SM Entertainment, said, "We've been inundated
with requests from TVXQ's fans overseas to see the concert since we began
selling tickets on Jan. 12. With the cooperation of AVEX, a Japanese promotion
agency, we've arranged a tour event, including admission to the concert, for a
total of 120 Japanese fans after selecting them on a first-come-first-served basis.
During the concert on Feb. 12, the Japanese fans will join a group of 120 Korean
fans in delivering a collection of well-wishing cards and chocolates to the TVXQ
members."
The fans arriving from China, Taiwan, Thailand, and other regions who will attend
the first concert on Feb. 10 will present TVXQ with a huge "lucky bag" containing
encouraging messages.
