Player Ratings: Liverpool 2-1 Manchester United
Late Kuyt winner puts hosts in the fifth round after Agger opener was cancelled out by Park strike
Liverpool
José Reina Paez 6.0
The Spaniard had little to do in the Liverpool goal. Wrong-footed for Park's equaliser and had one scary moment after the break when he rushed out to challenge Welbeck.
José Enrique 5.5
Tidy on the ball but found it tough against Valencia. Beaten by the Ecuadorian winger on a few occasions and make a weak challenge on Rafael in the build-up to Park's goal.
Martin Skrtel 7.0
Strong and commanding at the heart of the Liverpool defence, denying Welbeck space to cause damage.
Daniel Agger Top of the Match 7.5
The Dane showed good anticipation and looked to build from the back with accurate passing. Gave Liverpool the lead in the 21st minute with an excellent jump and header from Gerrard's corner.
Martin Kelly 7.0
The young full-back was selected ahead of Glen Johnson and produced a very sound defensive performance, sharp in his tackling and alert positionally.
Jamie Carragher 5.0
On his 34th birthday, the Liverpool stalwart made a rare appearance in a holding midfield role. Looked uncomfortable as he took up poor positions and didn't appear to know whether or not to pressurise United midfielders.
Stewart Downing 5.0
Played on the right wing and looked completely bereft of confidence. The frustration of the Kop - and his own team-mates - was clear when he misplaced crosses and made poor decisions on the ball.
Steven Gerrard 6.0
The Liverpool captain played with freedom in the first-half, driving the Reds on the counter-attack and taking the corner for Agger's opener. Looked surprised to be substituted for Bellamy in the 72nd minute.
Maxi Rodríguez 5.5
The Argentine was efficient on the ball but lacked the spark of creativity Liverpool needed. Replaced by Adam in the 63rd minute.
Jordan Henderson 6.0
Worked hard throughout the game without ever showing much quality on the ball. Sat deep for much of the match, letting Gerrard drive forward.
Andy Carroll 6.5
Too static for most of the game but made two decisive contributions. Blocked De Gea in the build-up to Agger's opener and won the header for Kuyt's winner. Hit the woodwork himself with a late header.
• Substitutions
Charlie Adam N/A
Replaced Maxi in the 63rd minute. Provided fresh legs but misplaced a few long-range passes
Dirk Kuyt 7.0
Came on for Carragher in the 63rd minute and smashed home the winner two minutes from time, deceiving De Gea with a powerful near-post shot.
Craig Bellamy 6.0
Replaced Gerrard in the 72nd minute and was energetic without having too much of an impact.
Apa pun aku tetap tak puas hati ngan hendo ngan kerol.hendo nak kata main DM tapi takde pun rebut bola lawan, nak kata AM xde pun anta bola ke depan.cuma lari sana lari sini.gerrard sorang dok turun naik,tu yang bellamy masuk, nampak abe g kepenatan.
Kerol macam biase la,berat!padahal ramai je player lain tinggi cam dia tapi laju je lari, pandai cari ruang kosong, boleh gelecek2 lawan.kamon kerol!jangan jadik kayu mati daaaaa..

Doni is expected to secure a return to Italy before Tuesday's transfer deadline
Kristoffer Nordfeldt has revealed that he is having talks with Liverpool tomorrow.
The Swedish goalkeeper once attracted interest from the likes of Ajax and Borussia Monchengladbach but has been without a club since leaving IF Brommapojkarna last year.
He will meet with Anfield chiefs regarding a possible deal with the Reds resigned to seeing Alexander Doni end his short-lived spell with the club by securing a move away.
But contrary to reports last week, a return to his homeland with Sao Paolo is unlikely with former Palermo stopper Rubinho considered the preferred option since becoming a free agent.
Doni is currently the only player in Liverpool's squad who has yet to make a senior appearance for the club this season, having arrived as Pepe Reina's understudy last summer.
The 32-year-old secured his protracted free transfer to Anfield from Roma, where he spent six years initially as first-choice before being displaced by Artur and Julio Sergio respectively.
With first team opportunities limited at Liverpool, he is seeking a move onto pastures new with Catania previously enquiring about his availability ahead of Tuesday's transfer window deadline.
Doni's impending departure will pave the way for Nordfeldt's potential arrival with the 22-year-old's goalkeeping attributes likened to Manchester United and Spain stopper David de Gea.
"It's really exciting. I'll be flying to Liverpool on Monday with my agent," Nordfeldt told FotbollDirekt.se.
"Of course it feels good but I don’t want to get overexcited because of this. I’ll just try to play it cool and see what they want to offer me.
"I know myself and have worked hard these last few months. I know that Liverpool likes me and has watched me for a long time. They like me so all I can do is believe in myself."
Liverpool FC keeping hold of Andy Carroll despite fresh exit talk
Kenny Dalglish has spoken of his desire to mould Andy Carroll into a player to suit Liverpool's playing style amid claims they have tried to offer him to Manchester City in a swap deal.
Reports today suggested that the Reds attempted to use their record-breaking purchase to broker an unsuccessful trade with the Premier League leaders for their want away striker Carlos Tevez.
Fresh talk of a move back to Newcastle has also been speculated this weekend with a part-exchange deal for Demba Ba which would see Carroll return to his native North East this summer.
Dalglish was full of praise for the lofty hit man after he capped off a solid performance in yesterday's FA Cup win over Manchester United by providing the assist for Dirk Kuyt's decisive late strike.
And the Kop boss insists that Liverpool are keen to continue Carroll's development at Anfield, as he prepares to mark a year since his arrival, by tailoring his abilities to their tactical dynamic.
"He works really hard and gave everything he got [against United]," said Dalglish.
"He's got a lot of attributes that we've got to work on and we'll work him to get those attributes finely toned and suitable for us.
"I'm sure that [performance] will do him no harm in the confidence stakes either."
Dalglish also reflected on a sizeable change in fortunes in what was a season-defining seven days for Liverpool after slumping to defeat at relegation candidates Bolton Wanderers last weekend.
The win over United was preceded by a dramatic score draw with Manchester City, which was enough to book the club's place in next month's Carling Cup final against Cardiff City.
Dalglish has hailed the character of his players in recording the two victories but admits that Sir Alex Ferguson's side were the marginally superior team during yesterday's clash at Anfield.
He added: "They were probably better than us, had more possession than us but the determination and the effort from our lads was fantastic so we're delighted with the effort and commitment.
"It's been a really difficult week for them; having to play on Wednesday night and then again on Saturday morning is a big ask for anybody.
"To play two teams as good as City and United was even more of a task but they did it, showed fantastic commitment and effort and we've had a good week."

– Agensi
Liverpool make audacious striker offer
Liverpool transfer news: Andy Carroll-Carlos Tevez swap deal rejected
Manchester City reportedly rejected an offer from Liverpool proposing the swap of Carlos Tevez for the much maligned Andy Carroll.
Tevez is seemingly set to leave the Etihad Stadium during the January transfer window, and both Milan clubs have been leading the race for his signature.
But, according to The Observer, Liverpool had also been interested in signing the Argentine, and offered Carroll in exchange for the 27-year-old.
However, City immediately rebuffed the idea of a straight swap involving Carroll when a Liverpool representative made the suggestion on Thursday.
Carroll has yet to complete a year at Anfield, having made the £35 million move to Liverpool on deadline day of January last year.
The 23-year-old has failed to live up to expectation since his transfer from Newcastle, and has scored only six goals for Kenny Dalglish's side.
Carroll has also been linked with a move back to St James' Park, but these rumours have been dismissed by Newcastle.
Dirk Kuyt exit to Fiorentina 'rejected by Liverpool'
The versatile Dutchman has started just 12 Premier League matches this season following the Reds' summer spending spree and the Serie A clubs were keen to test Kenny Dalglish's resolve to keep him.
However, the 31-year-old's agent, Rob Jansen, found Liverpool were not prepared to consider selling.
'A large number of clubs in Europe have real interest in Dirk and it is true that there were clubs in Italy,' Jansen told De Telegraaf.
'But Liverpool will not let Dirk go.'
Kuyt, who ended a four-month goal drought with the winner in Liverpool's 2-1 FA Cup fourth round victory over Manchester United on Saturday, is far from certain to be at Anfield next season
Marco Marin is linked with a move to Liverpool. There are a number of clubs in Europe chasing the Germany international, but everything points in the direction of Anfield and a transfer taking place in the last 24 hours before deadline.
