Aishwarya Rai Bachan, the former miss world and the bolly wood super star is pregnant with twins. This news was confirmed by Big B himself in front of media just a few days ago.
Recently a Swiss hospital has even given her the due date of delivery that is most probably 1st of November, which is by the way very close to her own birth day. Her activities related to show biz have slowed down and whole family is very excited about the upcoming time.
Doctors have told the couple that there will be twins and they are boys, while the clairvoyant babas from India had proclaimed earlier that Aishwariya would have girls as her first born.
Farah khan had triplets, Sanjay Dutt’s wife had twins and now Aishwariya is the third celebrity who is expecting more than one babies at a time.
From the moment her pregnancy was announced all eyes have been on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The actress and former Miss World has been the subject of speculation for months, with fans and photographers alike straining for a glimpse of the uber-famous Bachchan belly and pleading for details surrounding her now-imminent role as Bollywood's most famous mother.
Through it all Aishwarya Rai has remained mum, preferring to stay out of the public spotlight (though she has made some brief, careful appearances) and even allowing her father-in-law, world famous actor Amitabh Bachchan, to announce her pregnancy to the world.
The beautiful couple's reticence when it comes to divulging too many private details of Aishwarya's pregnancy has been particularly maddening to Mumbai's celebrity gossip world, which thrives on even the tiniest scraps of information about the city's film stars.
The tabloid crowd must have been thrilled today then as Abhishek Bachchan took some pity on them (and all of Aishwarya's fans!) and shot down one of the more pervasive rumors about the pregnancy. Via Twitter he announced that no, he and Aishwarya Rai are not expecting twins.
A fan asked the junior Bachchan "Abhi, is d news of Ash expecting twins true?" (sic) to which Abhishek quickly replied "No, it's not."
One rumor down, a million more to go. The news of just one Bachchan baby has been enough to send India's Tinsel Town into a frenzy--imagine if there were to be two!
