ya betul...jawapan pada perang zaman sekarang...air superiority...tak der nih, mmg jadi lauk ler yg defend kat bawah. Bawak ler keta kebal bagak mana pon... kena GBU dari atas habih punah... nak lawan yg terbang tinggi kat atas nih takat manpad jer tak cukup, kena berlapis2, mula dari air superiority fighter ngan jumlah munasabah, pas tuh LR SAM, pas tuh MR SAM, SHORAD, VSHORAD. pas tuh manpad/AA Guns and CIWS sbg last resort. Cover yg atas tuh, yg bawah nih boleh la gerak.... tapi tank la ni very vulnerable to ATGM moden yg kalau diaturgerak oleh unit2 kecik pemusnah tank/armor, teramat sukar utk dibendung spt terbukti masa perang lebanon dan georgia nih... |

antarla askar nak tolong georgia halau askar russia..benda simple pun tak leh buat..
kat iraq/afganistan bukan main lagi tunjuk jaguh halau taliban ngan askar saddam |

US kalu buat gitu mmg suicidal ler.... taliban ngan askar saddam yg dah lama kena embargo dia boleh ler tenyeh.... tengok ler anak buah dia israel kena belasah ngan hezbollah yg pakai senjata terkini russia macam mana tergolek dog.... depa hantaq abraham lincoln ker... senang2 jer russia nak titik... |

tergelak aku baca bila kata "Rusia pick a weakling" ... US dan seluruh NATO digunakan utk serang Afganistan dan Iraq yg hampir lumpuh akibat embargo !!!
Apa-apa pun .. kalau US masuk campur .. gerenti WW3 .. jadi US & NATO hanya akan memerhati dari jauh. |

Bush orders aid to Georgia and Rice to visit Tbilisi (latest)

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President George W. Bush on Wednesday ordered the Pentagon to deliver aid and sent Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to visit Georgia in the strongest U.S. show of support for its ally since a conflict with Russia erupted.
Bush, who spoke with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili earlier in the day, demanded Moscow end the crisis, abide by an agreed ceasefire and withdraw Russian troops sent to Georgia after fighting began last week.
"The United States of America stands with the democratically elected government of Georgia. We insist that the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia be respected," Bush told reporters at the White House.
"Russia must keep its word and act to end this crisis."
Georgia last week sent forces to retake South Ossetia, a pro-Russian province that threw off Georgian rule in the 1990s. Moscow responded with a massive counter-attack that overwhelmed Georgian forces.
Russia also moved beyond separatist areas and into Georgia proper, prompting Rice to say Moscow "seriously overreached."
Russia and Georgia agreed to a ceasefire but reports persisted that Moscow's military activities continued.
Flanked by Rice and Defense Secretary Robert Gates in the Rose Garden, Bush said he was concerned about reports that Russian forces were blocking roads and access to the port in Poti, and blowing up Georgian vessels |
