Buffy the vampire slayer (Siri TV)
semua nya kisah percintaan manusia dengan yang bukan manusia...
TWILIGHT is an action-packed, modern-day love story between a teenage girl and a vampire. Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother re-marries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn't expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a boy unlike any she's ever met. Edward is a vampire, but he doesn't have fangs and his family is unique in that they choose not to drink human blood. Intelligent and witty, Edward sees straight into Bella's soul. Soon, they are swept up in a passionate , thrilling and unorthodox romance. To Edward, Bella is what he has waited 90 years for - a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward & Bella do when a clan of new vampires - James (Cam Gigandet), Laurent (Edi Gathegi) and Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre) - come to town and threaten to disrupt their way of life?
ABOUT TWILIGHT:

Premiere met with Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Rachelle Lefevre at Comic-Con in San Diego. Pattinson plays the lead character in Twilight, sensitive vegetarian vampire Edward Cullen who's desperately in love with the mortal Bella (Kristen Stewart). Rachelle Lefevre plays Victoria, an evil vamp who's on a quest to stamp out Edward and Bella's love (and Bella herself). Check out what they had to say about playing vampires, making out with humans, action figures, and the craziness of the Twilight phenomenon.
Tell us who you play in the film. Robert Pattinson: I play Edward Cullen in Twilight, who's a semi-reluctant vampire. [He's] 108 years old, maybe 109 this year, and he's stuck in the body of a 17-year-old school kid pretending to be a human and then he meets... well, for pretty much 100 years he's wanted to either die or become a human again, and then he meets what becomes the love of his life, a mortal girl called Bella and he falls in love with her. The story is the trials and tribulations which occur when a vampire falls in love with a normal girl who he wants to kill all the time.
Have people learned nothing from Highlander? You can't fall in love with a mortal! RP: It's true. No, I mean, it's arguable. Essentially, it's the same thing. Edward knows that he is a vampire and that he will always be and that she will always be a mortal until she's dead. There's not a huge amount he can do about it, but it's essentially a pretty happy situation at the end, I think.
Did you read the books? RP: Before the movie? I hadn't, no. I read them after my screen test, and I'd never even heard of them before. Then when we were doing the movie, it kind of got exponentially bigger and bigger and bigger, and then everybody knew about it. It was kind of strange.
Did you do a lot of research on vampires? RP: Not on vampires, really. I mean, I guess it's kind of easy to make it [a] clich
Are you looking forward to being a poster boy on teens' walls? RP: I don't know. RL: You're going to be a doll. RP: Oh yeah. The doll is cool. That is what I really want. I want to have a little button in the back so you can do stuff with it. I'm looking forward to the doll more than the poster.
Your skin is described as shining like diamonds when you go out into the light. What does it look like? RP: I don't know. I haven't actually seen that yet. That is one of the hardest things to do. RL: Didn't you have days of make-up testing for that? RP: We did. We had a thousand different ideas. We did this thing with flakes of salt, and I remember they painted one of the PA's blue, which is kind of a confused direction. I don't really know what they're thinking with that.
How faithful is the movie to the book? RL: The only difference is the action scenes aren't really in the book, because the book is written from Bella's perspective, and most of the time she's either unconscious or everybody's moving too quickly and she doesn't know what is going on, so all the action stuff was put in so that you can see it.
Was it difficult to speak with an American accent for the shoot? RP: No, not really. I mean, I kind of grew up watching American movies, so in a lot of ways it feels more natural if you're speaking in an American accent than speaking in an English one. You kind of feel like you're acting more. Otherwise, I feel like I'm not actually doing anything. [laughs]
Was the rain as constant in the movie as the book? RL: We all got hailed on. That was fun. It was pretty grey and horrible RP: Oregon has the strangest weather stuff that happens, especially in the spring when we were shooting. It would be like sunny, snowing, raining, and hailing at the exactly same time. It would be raining and there'd be no clouds in the sky. It was like fake weather. RL: I think our continuity lady was on some pretty heavy medication by the end of it. [laughs] RP: Every two minutes, the weather would change.
Outside of the Twilight series, who are your favorite movie vampires? RL: Hands down, Gary Oldman. RP: That's what I was going to say! RL: It's not my favorite vampire movie, but he's definitely the sexiest, most intense Dracula. RP: I like the actor in the original Nosferatu [Max Schreck]. He's amazing. I mean, he has an amazing face. I thought he was really cool.
It seems with vampires there are two different types, the nice ones and then the bad ones. Where do you stand on that? RP: Well, that's kind of like with our characters. She's one of the bad vampires in Twilight. I try and be nice to people... Well, not really... I mean, that is what a lot of the story is about as well... Is Edward deciding to go against his base instincts? I mean, he knows he's a vampire and he knows what vampires do is go around killing people. It's kind of the whole point of being a vampire, and Edward, for some reason, decides he doesn't want to do that and he's trying to figure out why he doesn't want to do it the whole time. But the vampires who kill everyone... that makes a lot more sense. RL: Stephenie's got a good metaphor going for what happens to people when they get power and that there are different kinds of leaders. There's the "Absolute power corrupts absolutely" [motto], which is what happened to us, the nomadic evil vampires. They decide that they are better than humans and that humans are just for feed. Then there's the "With great power comes great responsibility" side of it which is, "We're going to try live among people and stifle our better urges." RP: The other thing is that the Cullens don't act like superheroes, which is really strange as well. They don't go around helping people or saving anyone. They just want to keep to themselves and that's it. They just want to have as normal a life as possible. I save Bella's life and I could have saved a bunch of other people's lives, but I just don't.
How did you approach the kissing scenes? Tongue or no tongue? RP: I always try to slip a bit of tongue in. [laughs]
The book says that when you're physically close, you have an urge to attack. How do you put that into your performance? RP: Well, there's only really one time... [When] Bella says, "I'm not scared of you" and "You're not a monster," the more I believe it myself, and I forget that I'm a vampire and what my actual urges are, and I try and kiss her and it ends up being a nightmare. She had the hormonal rush and I had the "I want to kill you" rush. It ends up being sexy in a weird sort of way. You're at the point where you want to do everything and kill them at the same time. It's the peak. RL: It's the kind of sex we all wish we were having. [laughs]
How many movies are you both signed up for? RL: Oh God, they haven't made any decisions about that. We're praying we get to do all three, and that's all we know.
