Vernon, selaku Ketua Juri mengatakan yg beliau mengadili peserta-peserta CARI IDOL melalui :
1. Tone - the sound quality of the voice.
2. Diction - the pronunciation of words.
3. Pitching - singing in tune.
4. Rhythm - singing in tempo and time.
5. Feel - does the singer portray and convey the message of the song?
6. Song selection - does the song match the singer and does the singer match the song or at least try to match the song?
beliau juga mengatakan...
If I had to choose between someone with an appealing tone but poor technique OR someone with good
technique but poor tone, I'd choose the one with an appealing tone.
Technique can be taught and improved but tone is something you're born with and cannot be changed. |
