An MBC official, "Rumor of taking it out of future schedule is groundless. Exact time is not decided yet."
"The 'TWSSG' will be aired on MBC."A high official in Drama Department at MBC expressed their stance onMBC history drama 'TWSSG' that is having a setback in productionschedule.
This high official stated positively that "Thestory that it was excluded from the future scheduling is not true. Icannot tell exact broadcasting period yet. However, when the 'TWSSG' isbroadcast, it will be aired on MBC."
People talked gossipsabout the the 'TWSSG', having scheduled to be aired on coming 25originally, as it delayed its airing once again. Since then, rumor ofdiscord between production crew and cast and rumor that it will not beallowed to be aired have been circulating.
Having stopped its filming in past early May, the 'TWSSG' will resume its filming from 22.
A source at the production for the 'TWSSG' told that "Wewill first finish filming portions in inland regions. It is difficultto say definitely about the broadcasting time because it is a sensitiveissue."
Regarding resumption of filming by actor BYJ, this source told, "Whenthe filming resumes, BYJ will also join production crew. We plan tohold a preview screening at about one month before finishing thefilming. We also have planned to open the location sites after thepreview screening."
Having begun its filming in March of thelast year, the 'TWSSG' showed crippled course of postponing its airingfor 4 times since then. On past 8, Director Kim Jonghak PD himselfended up requesting a press conference and explaining about delay inbroadcasting.

MBCannounced on 5 that MBC Specially Planned Drama 'TWSSG'(Script by SongJina/Park Kyeongsoo, Direction by Kim Jonghak/Yoon Sangho), which hasbeen receiving expectation in numerous topic of talks including castinfot Hallyu star BYJ, will be aired from September 10(Monday),and 'Isan'(Script by Kim Yiyoung, Direction by Lee Byeonghoon, KimGeunhong), Specially Planned Drama for 46th annversary of itsfoundation, will be aired first on September 17(Monday).
MBCdefinitely decided broadcasting programming that after airing 'TWSSGSpecial' containing introduction of the 'TWSSG', production course,interiview with actors, etc,. on September 10, they will air first tothird episode of the 'TWSSG' from 11 (Tuesday)~13 (Thursday), and thenfrom 19 (Wednesday), (they will air it) at 9:55 at night on Wednesday& Thursday every week.

A)"As it is not by power of broadcasting stations but power of systemitself, if we do not reform it, it will flor like that so that we haveto prevent capital from resolving everything. The reality is that(broadcasting) is monopolized by several companies."
Q) Copyright will be taken by Kim Jonghak Production...?
A)"That'swhy we announced on statement and an article on Labor News. Saying thatwe have to avoid such thing in the future. Becase it makes us downgradeinto relay station...Because it is a blockbuster, being never seenbefore and since, our company (MBC Station) is to show it saying it isdifficult to give it to other stations. We have to wait for the result."

A)"Delayingin broadcasting schedule happens to other programs and we cannot seethat it happened only this time. As for the production situation,because of many conditions, production can be delayed and starting canbe delayed. There are many kinds of situations."
Q)Is there any problem related to copyright...?
A)"Asthere is opposite party in negociation, same thing will not be appliedall the time, and it is case by case according to programs."
MBCsuggested that they are resolving it as they told they are innegociation on the 'problem'. Still different doubt from copyrightissue. It is rumor that BYJ's fee is at 100 million won per episode inthe 'TWSSG'. Considering that production cost for general dramas are 80million won, it is at a dangerous level let alone being veryextraordinary.
As some media reported that BYJ'sappearance fee is over 100 million won, the situation is that thereraises voices expressing worry about high fee for stars.
We found out how much actual appearance fee from production company and BYJ's agency.

Q) Is BYJ's appearance fee is really 100 million won...?
A)Because there is portion of our investment, appearance fee is not 100million won, it is difficult to make it public. Because we doadditional business together (with production company)...I think it wasestimated like that because of that. Appearance fee is not like that."
Itwas confirmed that besides BYJ's appearance fee, drama productionexpense was known somewhat erroneously. Although it was known that 50billion won production expense will be invested saying it is supersized blockbuster, it is an inflated amount.

Q) Is it true that production expense is 50 billion won?
A)"Therewas portion I interviewed. There was time I told approximate amoung.That is about 32 billion won. It does not make sense as people aresaying 50 billion and so on...It does not make sense. Although we willknow when it cranks up, it is 30 billion plus or minus."
The'TWSSG' proceeded with its filming sites unveiled to public as it madepublic only severa still photos over one year and 6 months. It wasconfirmed that because of that, various rumors were getting about.
Actually,'Star News' team at YTN Star visited to gather news on filming progresssituation in last week, they had difficulty because they did not makepublic thoroughly. However, as if Berlin Wall fell down, they put onscreen Jeju Island sets and appearance of BYJ devoting in filming bypersonally riding on horse for the first time for domestic broadcastinghistory, gathering topic of talks.
We personally heard how was filming situation at this time.
Q) How much has the filming progressed...?
A)"Itwas done about 16~17 episodes. As it will accelerate speed when they doit by end of this month...Script is (done) about 22~23 episodes. Thescript is also finishing."
Q) What kind of drama is the 'TWSSG'...?
A)Please see 'TWSSG' homepage for once! In a word, although all thepeople who make drama would boast their dramas, it is a work of greatlabor, that we rarely seen lately. It is a drama like movie. I feelthat we will taste essence of such drama. Although one says that I amarrogant, I cannot help but arrogant. We also are fearful. Because allpeople have every eye fixed on us, (people associated with) Hallyu,broadcasting, media, mania, etc...Thus, I feel that the reason wepostpone often might be due to such sense of burden. The 'TWSSG', which is getting interestsfrom media in all Asian countries on itself, to the extent thatproduction crew says "fearful". It is not easy somewhat to understandthat such a burdensome interests are paid just because of appearance byYon-sama BYJ.

Wethink that it is reforming that such thing it self was planned andprepared. Killer contents...As we consider the 'TWSSG' as a killercontent and would those blockbuster drama become big help in creating Hallyuboom going beyond Asia and going to the World.
