Ayat tu menyatakan Jews patronize the Jews and Christians patronize the Christians, so why not Muslims patronize Muslims and support their own people.
This verse is not telling us to be against Jews or Christians, but it is telling us that we should take care of our own people and we must support each other.
Quran terlalu dalam maksudnya...kadang2 the translation could be out of context kalau ambik ayat cuma sepotong. Oleh itu kena study the whole, baru boleh memahami apa itu Islam. Tak sedap kalau makan half-baked cake.
Ayat di bawah mungkin boleh clarify sedikit sebanyak.
Emmm...sapa2 yang fight our faith, ambik our home & land tentulah jadi musuh? betul tak truth.8?

Allah refer only to 3 groups terbesar sahaja...Muslim, Jews, Christian. Sebab itu adalah pengikut2 agama dari langit. Kalau nak refer pada pengikut2 lain seperti Hindu, Budha, Melayu, Dayak, Sakai, Senoi, etc tentu beratus2 jilid jadinya. Kalau ikutkan sejarah pada masa tu yang ketara bersengketa adalah Jews, Christians & Muslim. read this:Galatians 4:28-31 "Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise. At that time the son born in the ordinary way persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now. But what does the Scripture say? 'Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman's son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman's son.' This verse from the New Testament despises children who are born from slave mothers. This verse doesn't recognize children born from slave mothers as normal sons because they are not allowed to inherit. This verse doesn't recognize slaves as equal to normal human beings. This verse agrees fully 100% with slavery and enslaving people.
