Episode Two
Episode Two starts off with the last minute of episode one. Na Rim meets everyone in the family, the first being the sister, even though Yang Ah wasn? selected by Dal Gun to play the sister. She? just there to get her money and avenge the death of her boat.
The other members can? believe Yang Ah just kicked ?ah Jang? (Boss) in the face.
While they?e fighting, the brother (Gong Min) says somebody? calling the house..
Just then, the REAL uncle (from the mother? side) drives up to the house and sees the fiasco happening in front of him. He says Na Rim left her backpack at the hospital. He asks why nobody picked up the phone when he called. He also notices if there are 7 people outside the house, then Na Rim must be alone inside. But Grandpa quickly says she? using the bathroom where 7 other people can? fit in. They all introduce their roles in the family. The uncle assumes Yang Ah is the sister, but Dal Gun disregards him saying she? no one.
They go back into the house, but Yang Ah? not done with Dal Gun yet.
He? busy, let? talk later. She? busy too.
He? telling her, look you know where I live so just come by later, I got things to do now.
But Dal Gun? lucky for now because she? got somewhere to go right now.
They?e inside talking about how Yang Ah took on Dal Gun
Grandma tells ?h Sah Jang? (Oh Dal Gun + Boss = Oh Sah Jang) she can? live with this woman. And Mom says Grandma? the disgusting one. She can? live with her either.
STAND UP!
Dal Gun then lectures them on what a family is. Stuff like, you can? change a family, if you?e once a family then you?e always a family. If you?e once a family, you?e a family till the end. No matter what you can? leave this family. And you can? change your family. (these words will come back to haunt him in a little bit? )
Gong Min: Na Rim is coming down! (that means put on your happy faces!)
Dad suggest singing a song, but Mom comes up with something more brilliant: let? drink coffee together. Give that coffee a break.
Grandpa calls on second son, second son, SECOND SON! Dal Gun finally gets it.
Na Rim drew a picture of the family, but where? Sister?
Mom asks her if she? talking about the sister she met earlier outside the house. Yup, that? the one.
Grandma: She? looking for her sister! 언니! 언니! Where? 언니?! (언니 = unni = sister)
Mom: (bright idea!) Ooooh, that 언니. The one you saw outside, your only sister, my first daughter, that one right? Don? worry, that sister will come.
Grandpa: She? at school right now.
Dal Gun finally gets that there can? be anyone else they?e referring to except Yang Ah.
He should call her, but Grandma says that? not necessary, ?nce you?e family, you?e always family!? (eat that Dal Gun!)
Mom, Dad reassure Na Rim and Dal Gun that 언니 will be back later.
Scary to creepy. That? his best fake smile.
Yang Ah is preparing for a job interview with the help of her friend who, THANK GOD, wipes off that ridiculous lipstick off her face.
Yang Ah? brothers: Yang Il, Yang Ee, Yang Sam. (Yang One, Yang Two, Yang Three) FIGHTING!
Small, small world.. Yang Ah is getting shampooed by Gong Min. She recognizes him from the house. ?re you really living at that guy? house??
Gong Min: All I want to do is shampoo your hair. ( not exactly what he said, a little author? license on my part..) And cleverly, the director/writer inserts a quick, quick recap of episode one through Gong Min, while he? shampooing Yang Ah? hair. So now she knows the whole story, but she wants to know why they called her 언니 before. Duh! ?ecause you?e the first girl she sees, she? going to think you?e her sister.?
Yang Ah asks Gong Min to nicely let Na Rim know that she? not her sister.
Gong Min: (repeating Dal Gun? words) If you?e once a family, you can? change your family. If you?e once her sister, then you?e her sister till the end.
Yang Ah:?!
Gong Min: I? shampooing..
Skeevy Jr. again. He sees the squid girl. He? ready to give a taste of her own medicine, but the idiot he is, he squids himself.
Yang Ah? interview. It seems Yang Ah has misinterpreted what they?e looking for. The poster in her room had a corner ripped off that had an important word that defined the kind of service they were looking for. With that word missing, Yang Ah misunderstood the ad. The real uncle is one of the interviewers and recognizes Yang Ah from the house, but she doesn? seem to notice him. Yang Ah tries her best to convince them she can still do the work, but Ha Bu Kyung (Hyun Young) won? take it. Oh, that skeevy brat sees the whole thing and smirks his way across the room. He wants to hire Yang Ah (only to spite and torture her later). He asks the uncle if they should and he vehemently says no. But Skeevy (sorry, his character name is Ha Tae Kyung, but I? going to be calling him Skeevy from now on) tells him to relax and was only asking him just for the sake of asking. Then he goes on to say, if he wants it, he gets it. ( that freaking brat! ultra skeevy!)
We?e at the collection agency. (or whatever it is) Daddy? late, but he had a good reason. He promises to give his all from now on.
Money is good. Money is so good.
And they still have no idea they?e talking to each other. We see a change from gentle to trying really hard to be mean from Dad. He even wrote out lines, but she still manages to get away.
Dal Gun yells if anyone is in the house. He finds Na Rim alone in the dark in her room.
Should I? Should I not? It? always funny watching a gangster talk to a little girl. It doesn? help when he punches the bed. (he? mad that she was all alone, when there are 7 other people in the family)
But everyone else in the family has places to be. Dad has his job and Gong Min? a shampoo boy. Grandma, Grandpa, and Mom are at a worker? strike.
Grandma tries to take over, but her crude and crass language isn? very popular with the crowd.. But she gets a group of people to follow her to the top of the building. Grandpa calls out for his wife.
Dal Gun finds Grandpa and Mom, but Grandma? on the roof. He calls her mandoo ahjuma.
Bu Kyung gets news of the strikers on the roof. In the same elevator, Dal Gun mistakes Bu Kyung as an elevator woman. Too bad she? the boss? niece.
Oh, how much I would pay to see this actually happen!
But Dal Gun stands in between Bu Kyung and the egg. He tells Grandma to go down and she does.. after she cracks an egg in her mouth..
What is this? Flirting? They exchange dirty clothes for a phone number.. He tries to walk away with style, but she tells him the elevator is the other way.
Yang Ah found a new place to live. The landlord hates noise! She really, really hates noise. Then she sees her bags move.. two human bodies pop out from them. And the third brother runs up to see if they got the place. No luck.
This is where you will be buried if you break any of my rules.
1. I will not leave the house whenever I want.
2. Until this is all done, this is our family.
3. I will live happily with my family.
When they come back, they tell them it? their turn?
How to get back at Dal Gun?
We need to bring the 언니 (only Yang Ah) into this family.
You all saw it, the gangster Oh Dal Gun couldn? stand up to her. We need her here with us.
Nobody prepared dinner! And nobody knows how to prepare dinner.
They tell Dal Gun if Na Rim? sister were here, she would know how to prepare a good dinner.
!
Pizza! For Grandpa. For Dad. For Uncle. For you! (Grandma) For brother and for Na Rim. This one is for Mom. But, there? one left.. that? for 언니.
So cute!
The family loves to interpret whatever Na Rim wants to say. For 언니, 언니. That? 언니? slice of pizza.
Ding dong! 언니? home!!! Second son, go open the door for her.
Dal Gun tells her to wait a moment and they?l go somewhere to talk.
He first needs to send a picture to the real uncle. But the real uncle notices the sister is missing from the picture. He tells Dal Gun if one person is missing from the picture by tomorrow, the whole plan is off and he?l be taking Na Rim to an American hospital.
Everyone? tired. Grandma wants to take a bath, but Mom tells her she? got to take one first, so the bathtub won? be filthy if she uses it after her. (Grandma? a really dirty woman)
The sleeping arrangements:
Mom says the girls in one room and the boys in another room. But imagine Grandma and Mom sleeping in the same room together!
Grandpa suggests having a drink together. He asks Dad if he? the kind of guy who drinks and cries. Just by his answer, you know he is.
I love this relationship! He needs her and she.. wants her money and she won? take any crap from him until she gets it.
Not the kind of guy who drinks and cries? We actually learn a little about his life. He has a daughter and son who go to school outside of Korea and it? been so long since he? seen them.

Episode Two - continues
Na Rim? pointing to the leftover slice of pizza. Where? 언니??? Don? lie to me, where is she?
If Uncle brings 언니, will Na Rim go to school? Yes.
The teacher knows the whole situation about Na Rim and her fake family.
Dal Gun tells her if there are any students out of line.. he can take care of them.
Major diss!
What are the chances Yang Sam and Na Rim are in the same class??
Yang Ah sees Na Rim and remembers what happened to her and is saddened.
Yang Ah tells the teacher she? her ?ister? and she tells Na Rim to study well and listen to the teacher.

And Yang Ah is happy with her new house.
Grandpa tells Dal Gun the Dad is caught up in work and will be coming home late.
He? in trouble because he? not good at his job and he? making outside phone calls on the job. (he was calling his daughter in Canada)
Dal Gun tries to save him. He says he? his brother.
You all saw the fight.
Dad is touched that Dal Gun says, ?et? go Brother.?
Dad has a lot to think about. Is he going to make it to the house by 9:00?
He does! And he brought snacks and goodies.
Na Rim is happy to see him and we see a glimpse of a real family. We also see how touched Dad is by all this.
