PUTRAJAYA: Bandar Malaysia, the stalled RM140 billion development at Jalan Sungai Besi in Kuala Lumpur, was officially revived at a signing ceremony here, today.
The agreement to develop the project was inked between TRX City Sdn Bhd (TRXC) and IWH CREC Sdn Bhd (IWH-CREC).
Witnessing the event was Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who said that Bandar Malaysia will have a significant impact on Malaysia’s economy, as it will serve as a magnet for high-impact global multinationals.
Dr Mahathir added that the project, which will take over 20 years to complete, will shape the direction of Kuala Lumpur’s development over the next few decades
