Barring people from using the toilet at the fast food's outlet in Masjid Jamek has drawn condemnation.
KUALA LUMPUR: Fast food outlet Burger King has been branded as “anti-Bersih” when one of its outlets at Masjid Jamek barred people from using the toilet.
The excuse being there was a water shortage.
“I managed to sneak upstairs and there was water and a queue of people waiting to use it. I don’t understand why they didn’t allow us to use the toilet,” said an irate Nancy Chiew.
Dennison Lim said he felt that the manager seemed particularly antagonistic towards those wearing the yellow Bersih t-shirt.
“Maybe he was stressed or tired, but he wasn’t very polite. When I asked about plug sockets, he just waved his hand and said ‘there’. Altogether, the staff wasn’t very polite,” he added.
To add to this, around 11.45am, yellow cones, ironically, were put against the entrance of the fast food restaurant barring anyone from coming in.
When queried about this, an employee just shrugged his shoulders and said: “Boss suruh letak.” (Boss asked to put it).
Evelyn Law was of the opinion that the Burger King management here seemed “anti-Bersih”.
“I came here with my family, we spent over RM150 and we were given looks like we were table crashing,” she said.
The manager was unavailable for comment.

polisi BK kena kerja 24/7 tapi discretion manager dia lah kot nak bagi sapa masuk. kalau tak makan BK, takkan nak bagi berak free. Dahla flush dia bukan mcm flush kapal terbang. kang penuh dengan shit org BERSHIT, sepah2 sapa mau basuh?

bodohnya diorang ni...ni dah jadi anarkis...diorang x fikir ker kereta diorang rosakkan tu hasil dari duit rakyat....nak repair kereta tu juga guna duit rakyat....siapa laa bagi idea bodoh ni..x pasal pasal kuar tv3 malam ni...perhimpunan ni ganas...
