MISSING MH370 UPDATE: Viet rescue official says plane's signal detected
KUALA LUMPUR: Chinese news agency Xinhua reported Vietnamese rescue official as saying the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 signal is detected
Earlier it said China has launched an emergency mechanism after a Malaysian Airline Flight MH370 lost contact with air controllers.
China’s foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said they were worried for the 160 Chinese on board the plane.
“We are trying to get in touch with relevant parties to check it out," the spokesman in a written statement on Saturday morning.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry and Chinese embassies in Malaysia and Vietnam have launched an emergency mechanism.
China is very worried over a Beijing-bound plane that has lost contact with air traffic control, Foreign Minister Wang Yi said Saturday.
"The news is very disturbing. We hope everyone on the plane is safe," said Wang.
He made the remarks at a press conference on the sidelines of the annual session of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature.
Wang said that China's Foreign Ministry and the related departments have activated emergency response mechanism.
"As soon as we have any more information, we will give it to you immediately," he said
AFP reported a spokeswoman with a Thai agency that monitors the country’s airspace said the plane did not cross over Thailand while Vietnamese officials said they had no information on the plane.
Meanwhile according to CNN report with Anderson Cooper, MAS vice president of operation control Fuad Sharuji said that the MH370 has seven hours of fuel, which they suspect would run out by 8.30am..
"It departed KLIA at 12.41am and supposed to arrive in Peking at 6.30am. We tried through various means to contact the flight including through other aircraft but failed.
"We have no idea where the aircraft is but got in touch with search and rescue team, which has been mounted," he said.
When asked if other aircraft has been sent on the same route, Fuad said they don’t have much information about the search and rescue but it is understood they have been deployed.
“We have no idea, we have no status on the findings,” he said via an interview on CNN.
AFP reported the aircraft's manufacturer Boeing as saying in its tweeter feed: “We’re closely monitoring reports on Malaysia flight MH370. Our thoughts are with everyone on board.”
Boeing has been best by problems with its high-tech 787 Dreamliners put into service two years ago, including a months-long global grounding over battery problems last year.
In July 2013, a Boeing 777-200 operated by South Korea’s Asiana Airlines skidded off the runway upon landing at San Francisco’s international airport after it clipped a seawall before touching down.
Three people died.

Sebijik teori dlm episod X-Files season 4 yg ai baruuu je nonton 2 hari lps, (ep.17 : Tempus Fugit dan ep. 18: Max). Kisah pihak tentera mengesan UFO tp at the same time ada pesawat penumpang melintas..nk tembak UFO tp terkena sekali pesawat penumpang & menyebabkannya jatuh terhempas.. gitu la lebih kurang.
