Madrid Eye Quaresma Instead Of Ronaldo
Real Madrid are set to turn their attention to Ricardo Quaresma as they have finally accepted that Manchester United will not let Cristiano Ronaldo go.
 
The Spanish giants' president Ram髇 Calder髇 may not have given up all hope completely, but Predrag Mijatovic and Bernd Schuster are drawing up other options.
Top of that alternative list is Quaresma, as the Portuguese star is the number one choice to fill the right-win spot that is causing concern this season.
While the 24-year-old may have just put pen-to-paper on a new deal with Porto, that may only be used a bargaining chip by his current club to drive up the asking price.
Despite Madrid being top of the league by seven points, Mijatovic believes that the squad is still slightly unbalanced with most of the attacking talent going down the left.
Quaresma was linked strongly to a move to Atl閠ico de Madrid last summer, but the deal fell through after Los Colchoneros refused to meet Porto's asking price.

European Sports Magazines -which comprises the ten most important sports magazines in the Continent- has announced the best European line-up, featuring Real Madrid's Casillas, Pepe, Ramos and Baptista, as well as men from Arsenal, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Milan, Liverpool and Barcelona. Real Madrid is the most represented squad in a list elaborated by choosing the best eleven players from the 98 teams that play in the English, Italian, French, German and Spanish leagues.
