Hanryu Top Star Song Seung Heon surprised Japan's movie industry
At the Hanryu Movie Festival held in Tokyo from 9 April till 27 May, Song Seung Heon's movies have gained good response which reflects his increasing popularity in Japan. In a survey done in conjunction with the movie festival, 3 of his movies (Ice Rain[1], Make it Big[3], The Cool Guy[5]) were chosen as the most wanted Korean movies.
In particular, Ice Rain was selected as the opening film at the festival. His popularity has also led to additional showtimes of Ice Rain. SSH's company commented that SSH remains as one of the top stars of the Hanryu wave.
The 6th formation ceremony of his Japan fansclub (Honeylang Japan), which was recently attended by some 800 fans at Hilton Hotel in Tokyo, attracted fans of 11-yr old to 72-yr old. The event was the most "talked about" entertainment news currently.
