UiTM student found dead in hostel bathroom

ARAU, 20 Sept — A female student of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Arau Campus in Perlis was found dead in a hostel bathroom on Saturday.
She was identified as Syarafina Mansor (pic), 18, a full-time Diploma in Science student who enrolled for the 2015/2016 semester intake.
She was found lying unconscious in the bathroom at 2.00pm by her friend who went to look for her when she failed to return to the room after two hours.
Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Perlis’s rector Prof Datuk Ahmad Redzuan Abd Rahman, said Syarafina was said to have left her room to take a shower at the bathroom noon
“When she not did not return to her hostel room after two hours, her friends suspected something amiss and went to the bathroom to check on her.”
“To their shock, she was found lying unconscious on the floor of the bathroom,” he said.
The hostel management later rushed her to the Tuanku Fauziah Hospital in Kangar where she was pronounced dead upon arrival at 3.20pm.
“Post-mortem reports showed the deceased died of internal bleeding in her head,” said Prof Ahmad.
“Syarafina had always complained of headaches to her friends. The pain sometimes caused her to miss her classes,” he added.
The remains of the Syarafina who is an orphan, would be laid to rest at the Muslim cemetery at Bukit Jenun, Pendang in Kedah on Sunday.
Arau District Police Chief Superintendent Police (SUPT) Ku Yaakob Ku Hamad classified the case as death sudden death with no foul play.

aku pun selalu sakit kepala migrain..kalau sakit mesti mkn ubat migrain "caffox"
setakat panadol biasa mmg x jalan la..
takut pulak aku..
tp arwah mak aku dulu pun kerap sakit kepala..pantang kena panas sikit
arwah meninggal pun pd hari yg dia ckp kepala dia sakit sgt2..
sebelah ptg dia mengadu sakit kepala selps subuh esok nya dia meninggal..

sblm masuk study, mesti ade medical check up.. so, xleh detect ke mse dia wat medical check up tu??
Medical checkup utk msok buat dgree ngn dip ni tkde pon smpi nk check2 kepala. Klo amek course sains kesihatan je extra check , kena check hiv , tibi, hepatitis bagai |

kalau medical check up tak dpt mengesahkan dia sakit ... mmg lepas la. eh tapinya .. tak de sbb universiti boleh tolak student yang sakit nak enroll kalau dia org mmg dpt tempat. biasanya result tu tuk aware kan je kat pihak pengurusan universiti.

owh iye ke.ingatkan kalau disahkan ade sakit teruk2 mse medical check up, pihak uni/ipt boleh tolak tawaran student tu.. jumudnya pemikiran iols.
