ok fixed. bole oobi tolong check kan lagi error tu kat dnsreport
btw, server ni aku on masa ofis hour je, mungkin pasal tu oobi tak dpt result.

sorry iweed, lambat reply. oobi baru balik dari out of town semalam. badan masih penat lagi. sat lagi oobi tengok pasal error tu. but, if you got it solve before then, update kat sini ye, supaya kami semua boleh belajar.

oobi checked, and you have two dns servers under azzuri.org domain, ns1 (IP: 203.153.16.59) and ns2 (IP: 203.153.16.60).
based on apa yang oobi tau, your dns servers are not configured properly. make sure both dns servers configure the same, except for SOA record. oobi tak boleh nak check further because i assume the servers are off. boleh tak you leave the servers ON overnight?
also, boleh tak you paste detail error yang you dapat tu kat sini (kalau masih tak solve lagi)?

ok oobi, i will let this server online this whole week.
obviosly the dns servers are not configured properly. though the domains are pointed to my server, still have the same error. some of the errors are: lame nameservers, missing nameservers, Stealth NS record leakage, SOA Record
and now i faced another wierd problem. saya dah cuba add domain untuk server ni, dan lagi satu domain untuk client. here some of the details:
domain admin/server : azzuri.org
nameserver : ns1.azzuri.org, ns2.azzuri.org
domain client : dressingdesign.com
nameserver : ns1.azzuri.org, ns2.azzuri.org
minggu lepas segalanya nampak success, kedua2 domain pointed ke server. selepas cuti 2 hari, domain azzuri failed to pointed ke server(page not available), manakala domain client dressingdesign.com masih berjalan seperti biasa.
saya tak tau dimana silapnya. saya check kat dnsreport, kedua2 nya memberi errors yg hampir sama. |

untuk setting kat email client cam outlook, camana nak tau pop3 dan smtp server tu?
skarang ni untuk client (dressingdesign.com), saya letak mail.dressingdesign.com untuk kedua-dua pop dan smtp. dapat success login ke outlook. cuma masalahnya skarang saya tak boleh receive email. send email boleh |

oobi jawab yang ni dulu sebab mudah sikit. yang error tu, oobi kena run few queries; so, oobi jawab later.
boleh, you boleh guna the same address untuk pop3 and smtp. smtp ni untuk send email while pop3 ni untuk receive email. yang iweed tak beritahu, do you host your email server locally? i mean, do you manage your email server, or is it manage by third party? kalau you manage sendiri, make sure you add dressingdesign.com route in your mail server routing table. kalau you tak add, you can't receive email sebab email tak tau mana nak hantar email tu. you can send email sebab bila you send email, it doesn't depend on dressingdesign.com but rather looking for destination route (whatever your "to" address). if you want to also use azzuri.org domain as email address, then add azzuri.org to routing table of your mail server too (and you can setup which email address to advertise to the internet).
kalau your mail server is hosted by third party, then you need to advise them to add dressingdesign.com to their mail server routing table.
let us know how it goes.

yes, i host this mail server locally, di plesk server yg sama, tapi using third party software(Horde). saya tak pasti pasal routin table tu/location inbox tu, tapi bila saya cuba send email kat mail account saya sendiri(from [email protected] to [email protected]), dapat pula dia received, masuk dlm inbox. maknanya tiada masalah untuk location email yg akan dihantar tu kan? cuma skang ni nak receive email dari luar je tak dapat

that worked because the route is local (when you sent email from [email protected] to [email protected]), it never got out of the box - will work even if your server is not connected to any network at all. so, it didn't tell us anything.
okay, try this:
send a test email from your horde account to your yahoo or hotmail or gmail, etc. email account. if you received the test email, reply to it. if it worked, you should receive the reply email in your horde inbox. kalau tak, you should get bounce notice - make sure you turn on the header detail feature (of your yahoo, hotmail or gmail account) and paste the header here (only if the reply bounced).

saya memang nak paste bounce email tu, tapi dari pagi tadi try tak dpt-dpt gak bouncenye email failurenya. kat outlook masih tak receive apa2. dah cuba test run (send/receive all), tak bagi apa2 error pun. raihan betui |

based on the error, it looks like yahoo mail server was looking for azzuri.org mail server, while you said your dns has mail.dressingdesign.com for MX record.
add another MX record for mail.azzuri.org in your azzuri.org zone files on your dns servers, and retry.

okay, i need to know this:
your mail server, is it inside the firewall or on dmz? i assume your dns servers are all on dmz since it has 203.x.x.x ip addresses. so, i also assume that your mail server is inside the firewall since it has 192.x.x.x ip address.
if that's the case, then you need to point your dns entry for mail server on ns1 and ns2 to your firewall dmz ip address.

its okay oobi, saya rasa error2 ini disebabkan oleh internal firewall kat sini. server testing dah completed. saya akan kembali lagi bila server berkenaan bersedia utk dimasukkan ke dalam dmz nanti. i'll be back. tenque tenque |
