Fuji TV will show the Nodame dorama special in January 2008. The two-night special will pick off from where the dorama timeline ended. Tamaki Hiroshi and Ueno Juri will reprise their roles as Chiaki Shinichi and Noda Megumi.
The special will likewise feature new characters not in the original Ninomiya Tomoko manga.
Overseas filming will start this fall (centering on Paris), and is expected to take about 3 weeks.
The Nodame Orchestra will also hold Christmas concerts from Dec 18-28 at the Le Theatre Ginza in Tokyo. Further details about the concerts are not yet confirmed. The Nodame Orchestra sold 400,000 copies of their debut CD so far.
