Alone in Love/Era of Love/Yeonaeshidae
Let抯 start off with the synopsis up to the first half of the drama (Credits to the Korean Herald, Shin Hae-In):
Eun-Ho (Son Ye Jin) and Dong-Jin (GamWu-seong) meet one day at the bookstore where he works at and they'reimmediately drawn to each other. They fall in love after subsequentmeetings, and the two are married like millions of others who are insimilar situations. But two years later they are divorced, and that'swhere the story opens. A pair of divorcees sitting across from eachother talking about each other's lives.
There's nothing about them that standsout from the crowd. They have ordinary jobs, he works at a bookstoreand she at the fitness club. Neither is extremely good-looking, norrich, nor charismatic. But there is something different about them, andas the story reveals the reasons behind their divorce, their continuingmeetings after divorce, their mingling in each other's lives, theirmatchmaking attempts for each other, and their internal monologuesabout each other, it becomes apparent they are each other's destiny, ifsuch a thing exists.
But even so, getting back together mightbe asking too much, since that would open up a wound that they've triedto bury for 3 years. Furthermore their new love interests, Mi-Youn (OhYoon-Ah) and Hyeon-Joong (Lee Jin-Wook) are marking their steps intoDong-Jin and Eun-Ho's lives, and the new love might just be a wiseroption for two that have tried but failed already. In fact, Hyeon-Joongmay have more things in common with Eun-Ho than she ever had withDong-Jin, and Mi-Youn seems to need Dong-Jin more than Eun-Ho ever did,this alone might be enough for the pair of divorcees to finally cut thetie between them.
After losing a much expected baby, thecouple fails to heal the wound together, choosing instead to separatebefore "they see the worst of each other."
But even a year and a half after theirdivorce, the two meet up in their favorite bakery for breakfast,quarrel over trivial things like a married couple and eat dinner ontheir wedding anniversary with a free meal coupon provided by the hotelwhere they got married. While wondering whether the lingering feelingsare love, Dong-jin and Eun-ho are both too afraid to start over - andmore afraid to end the relationship completely. With neither braveenough to confront each other about the misunderstanding on the dayEun-ho had a stillborn baby, they are unable to move on. Although theyhad gone through marriage, they are no better in solving the problemthan other lovers.
Having "failed" once, love turns intofear. Eun-ho constantly wonders to herself, "Where and when does lovebegin? Are they feelings of worry and longing love? If one loses sleepover the lingering face, is that love? If one's heart keeps on achingafter a long time, was that love?"

The best friend of Dong-jin. A gynaecologist by profession, but like Ji-ho, wishes that Dong-jin will return to Eun-ho.
Moon Jeong-Hee - Chung Yu-Gyoung
The first love of Dong-jin. They meeteach other again at a school reunion party and Dong-jin decides topursue her and eventually marries her after his divorce from Eun-ho.
Oh Yoon-Ah - Kim Mi-Youn
The childhood friend of Eun-ho.
Divorced from her husband and has a daughter, Eun-sol. Wishes tofind a man who is responsible and kind to her daughter and seesDong-jin as the perfect man.
Lee Jin-Wook - Min Hyun-Joong
On the verge of suicide until Eun-hocoincidentally managed to talk him out four years ago. Since then, hehas remembered Eun-ho and seeks to date her when he finds out that sheis now divorced.
Seo Tae-Hwa - Chung Yoon-Soo
A university professor who takes swimming lessons to overcome his fear of the water. Falls in love with Eun-ho.
Cho Hye-Young - Choi Young-In
Ex-wife of Yoon-soo. Fell in love with him when she was studying abroad but refuses to be legally divorced from him.
Jin Ji-Hee - Cho Eun-Sol
Daughter of Mi-Youn. Likes Dong-jin a lot and wishes that he will become her stepfather.
Ha Jae-Sook - Nah Yoo-Ri
A pro-wrestler. Friend of Eun-ho and another person who wishes for Dong-jin and Eun-ho to reconcile.
Kim Gab-Soo - Yu Gi-Young
Father of Eun-ho and Ji-ho. A pastor who does a talkshow on the radio at night for people with problems in their relationships.

Ni kawe kasi spoiler tp untuk 1st episod jer sbb tak jumpa lain2 nyer epi.....
Cite ni bermula dgn gambaran dlm gereja, ader pembaptisan seorang baby. Dong Jin (hero yg korang kutuk2 tue) tanya awak bleh ingat masa dibaptiskan, mcm mustahil jer? Eun Ho (heroin) lak jwb mustahil ke, tp itulah kebenaran nyer. EH pon cite la memory dia masa tu....Then tunjuk lak scene dinner kat hotel, DJ tanya napa lak tiba2 cite pasal pembaptisan? EH kata dia selalu teringatkan memory tu. Dah selesai makan, dia org minum panas & borak2. EH kata lepas ni tak perlu berjumpa lg mase wedding anniversary dia org, sbb mcm pelik jer EH ngan DJ makan mlm sama2 pastu celebrate lak kat hotel yg sama masa kahwin. DJ tanya abih nak wat camner, sejak kita bercerai mereka (pihak hotel) tak patut bg kita jemputan mkn mlm? Atau pon kita bw org lain mkn sekali? Bukan ke susah nak bayar bill klau camtu? EH kata bg jer bill kat sy, biar sy bayar...DJ tanya lg kalau bg bill kat EH, ader ke lelaki yg nak temankan EH? EH jwb klau ader awk bg tak bill kat sy & DJ kata tak....EH ckp klau DJ bw gf dia bg bill kat DJ untuk byr, DJ jwb iye, time kasih. EH pndg semacam kat DJ (sbb dia x percaya yg DJ akan ade gf)....Pastu dtg seorang waiter nak amik gmbr anniversary guna Polaroid....
Dlm lift, DJ bg gmbr tu kat EH & klau EH boring leh la tgk gmbr tu mlm2. EH kata mcm sy tgk muka awk dan cucuk ngan jarum pd nyer (kawe pon kurang fhm ape yg dimaksudkan). Ada couple masuk dlm lift, tiba EH ganti balik duit DJ mase mkn mlm, DJ cam pelik & wat2 ketawa tanya napa EH wat camtu? EH kata apa salahnyer, nanti awak marah klau sy tak ganti, cuba lah kira cukup tak?(EH saje nak kasi malu DJ dpn couple td). EH naik teksi, DJ berckp kat luar tingkap klau pelik berjumpa pd hari anniversary, apa kata jumpa pd hr kita bercerai? EH kata awak dah gila ke? EH tepis tgn DJ sbb nak naik cermin & teksi pon bergerak....EH bermonolog sendiri......Di rumah EH letak gambar td kat peti & cover muka DJ ngan magnet peti. Dlm monolog EH, dia bg tau sudah 1 thn setengah dia org bw haluan msg2, EH ingat bila dah bercerai segalanya akan berakhir tp EH mesti ade sbb untuk berjumpa lg ngan DJ. DJ akan jauh memandang dgn mata yg begitu.....(mase ni DJ tgh pndg tmpt lain) Tiba2 DJ terbersin, terus mood EH nak bermonolog berubah . EH kata tak ader gaya langsung, sy cuma teringat kata2 dr buku yg pernah dibaca.......
DJ duduk atas kubur anak dia sambil mkn, EH suruh duduk bwh tp DJ kata nanti blkg dia sejuk. EH tanya kalau duduk kat situ tak sejuk ke, DJ ckp apa salahnyer dia anak sy. EH kata w/pon DJ ayahnya tp dia akan gembira ke klau DJ wat camtu? Sekali DJ jwb bukanyer anak yg dah mati tau, terus berubah air muka EH (dia terasa sbb yg mati tu anak EH gak). DJ terus bgn bila dia sedar yg tersilap ckp. DJ tanya EH dah cabut ke cincin kawin? (DJ pakai lg) EH ckp dia dah buang....tunjuk scene EH baling cincin tu....tp rupa2nyer tak buang pon (punyer la bersemangat EH wat stail balingan, ala2 org main besball lg) DJ tanya ye ke? EH ckp lepas difikirkan baik2, itu cincin berlian, klau buang mcm rugi tp pd masa yg sama sy taknak jd sy letak kat satu tmpt & tiba2 cincin tu hilang...hebat tak? DJ cam pelik jer dgr...Turn DJ lak bermonolog sendiri.....
Bila difikirkan semula, org bercerai punyai byk cara untuk bertemu lagi, cthnye hal2 pembayaran. Sbb takder duit, isteri akan minta bekas suami bayarkan...(scene EH tgh kira duit, DJ ckp tgk cara awak kira duit mcm expert, EH kata kurang 10,000 won!). Ada masa bila kita pulangkan barang penting untuk dia...(scene DJ kuarkan brg dr beg kertas, rupanya spender...DJ ckp nape mende ni ader kat dapur? Siap angkat lg spender tu sbb dia org kat cafe. EH geram & amik blk spender tu). Kali ni EH balas balik, dia pulangkan porn tape sambil ckp ini awk punya kan? Mase ni ader waitress kat situ tunggu nak amik order jd dgr la EH ckp.... Cpt2 DJ cover ngan tgn tape tp waitress tu dah nampak & tunduk jer...EH kata DJ cari merata2 tape tu & ia amatlah berharga wat DJ......
Sambung lg DJ nyer monolog....byk cara lain pasangan bercerai berjumpa kembali cthnyer di kedai mkn...DJ tgh dok borak2 ngan kwn2 dia & EH pon dok mkn ngan kwn2 lelaki (gym trainer sbb body ketul2). Bile DJ nak wat bayaran sbb belanja kwn2 dia (confident duit cukup nih), ahjumma (casher) bg la tau harga. DJ ckp cuba kira blk (sbb DJ tau xdelah mahal sgt)....tp ahjumma tetap beri tau harga yg sama. DJ tanya camner lak leh jd camni? Ahjumma pon tunjuk suruh kira sekali ngan customer yg duduk kat table tu, DJ pon tgk & tau rupa2nyer EH yg suruh byrkan...DJ membebel ler sbb ape dia yg kene byr, sekali ahjumma tu hempas pisau atas meja & terus DJ byr....
DJ monolog--->Kami pon hidup ngan gembira selepas bercerai..........
Scene di hsptl, Joon Pyo (2nd hero) tgh tgk org bersalin, berpeluh2 skali. Lepas jer baby dilahirkan terus dia pengsan...rupa2 dia lah doktor yg sepatutyer sambut baby tu tp last2 takut tgk org bersalin....JP cite kat EH yg dia pengsan dolu sblom pompuan yg bersalin pengsan. EH pujuk ckp doktor pon manusia gak, ini bukanlah yg kedua @ ketiga berlaku...JP kata ini yg ketiga....DJ tgh berdiri kat tepi tgga subway & hr hujan. Ader sorang pompuan jln bw payung, seme laki yg berdiri kat JP terpegun jer tgk. Bila pompuan ni berpayung kat tgh jln, dia pusing dan panggil DJ ajak kongsi payung ngan dia. Laki2 lain frust bila pompuan tu pilih DJ. DJ lak wat2 tak caya je tp pd masa sama smpt lg nak eksen...Balik semula ngan JP, dia cite yg dia ketua byk bhgn kat hsptl tp masa blaja kat u dia takderlah takut, kene real lifa lak terus jd mcm skrg. DJ dtg bersama2 ngan pompuan berpayung td dan dia adalah Ji Ho (2nd heroin) adik kpd EH & bekas adik ipar DJ. Tiba2 lampu dlm restoren berkelip2 (siap bunyi guruh lg), seme syp (klau kita tgk mesti ingat yg EH & JP bercouple/DJ & JH bercouple). Terus JH panggil EH unnie, blom order lg kan? EH kata dah tau nak sambut birthday sendiri nape lambat? EH ckp DJ pon dtg gak? DJ kata dah kene jemput dtg lah. Dia org makan kat kedai ahjumma pisau td . Dah mabuk2 pegi lak karaoke.....
Kat tmpt karaoke, JH nyanyi, DJ tanya EH lelaki sasa yg teman mkn hari tu sape? EH ckp health trainer baru. Dj kata nampaknyer taste EH dah berubah, disbbkan body EH flat jer, kene wat push up. Turn JP nyanyi, EH kata DJ patut bersukan, sbb kurang berotot dan byk lemak sana sini. Sesi kutuk2 pon bermula...Dlm toilet, JP buang air tiba2 JH masuk. Tggl EH & DJ dlm bilik karaoke, borak2. DJ bg tau yg dia ade date hujung minggu nanti. EH ckp ye ke, tahniah la. Malang sungguh date tu. Last2 dia org bertekak...Mase tunggu teksi, EH bg tau ciri lelaki yg dia suka sbb DJ kata nak carikan seorang lelaki wat EH. Ciri2nyer spt byk duit, jujur/ikhlas dan ader style. DJ kata tiba2 jer ckp psl ni, rupa2nyer awk panic bila sy bg tau yg sy nak gi date. EH syp jer sbb mmg dia tak puas hati yg DJ gi date..tiba EH jerit teksi! DJ yg tgh minum terkujat jap. Pastu tunjuk scene kehidupan seharian EH & DJ lepas bercerai. EH bekerja sbg gym/swimming trainer, DJ lak keje kat book store (siap ader secret admirer lg ). Dkt gym, anak buah EH ckp yg working enviroment skrg cam tak bermaya jer, EH kata kene upah trainer lelaki yg hensem & offer aktiviti yg special untuk lelaki hensem ke?
