Hmm...bole nampak la kenape kebanyakkan sultan Melaka semua 'malaun' semacam ajer kecuali Sultan Alaudin Riayat Syah.
:setuju:
aku admire kat Sultan nie...
ala2 system Khalifah Umar Amirul Mukminin
& ala2 Khalifah Umar Abdul Aziz
dia suka round malam2 menyiasat kehidupan rakyat & kuat beragama. |

Permisi dari mod untuk mencerita sedikit dgn serba ringkas dari catatan Hami ttg tentera Mongol di Asia Tenggara....
In 1269 it was apparent that Kublai Khan adopted another expansion program. The Khan sent envoys to states in SEA, as usual, demanding acceptance of China's loardship which in effect was a token of submission. It was also apparent that they were demanding actual obedience which, if refused, shall be backed by military action. Kertanagara, King of Singosari in Java played for time and by 1281, when the Mongols failed against Japan and followed by more failures in Tongking and Champa, he arrested the whole Mongol deputation and sent the envoys back to China with "disfigured" faces .....generally thought to be noses cut:hmm: . China was greatly angered by this and set to prepare a great fleet and army to punish the reculcitrant King.
In the meantime it is said that to enable him to prepare for the onslaught of the Mongols, Kertanagara worked on an Indonesian confederacy. Details do differ in different views of historians but it is said that he went as far as the west coast of the Malay peninsular, Pahang, Borneo...annexed Madura, conquered Bali, a holy alliance with Sunda, subjugated or came to an agreement with Malayu in Sumatra......:hmm: He actually missed the Mongol Armada off the coast of Borneo!
Meanwhile, while being absent often from Singosari weakened Singosari and gave opportunities to discontented vassals to rebel more so due to the King's own policies. Kediri was the centre of it as it's royal family had been humilated by a former king of Kutaraja which later became known as Singosari. The leader of the rebels was a Prince of Kediri. Now, this Kertanagara was quite a character. During one of his cult(Siva-Buddha) orgies he was murdered by the rebels. So when the Mongol Armada arrived he was no more.
When Singosari fell, her Crown Prince Vijaya fled to Madura. He saw the opportunity to overthrow the userper. He returned and submitted to Singosari. In return he was awarded governorship of a district in lower Brantas Valley. He then sought assistence from the Mongol to overthrow Jayakatwang and promised recognition of China as loard over Java. When the job was done and the Mongols were split into small detachments to perform different tasks, Vijaya mounted surprise attacks on them such that the Admiral abandoned his campaign and saild away home. Hence Vijaya built his HQ at his Kraton in Majapahit.

Yup, memang tuh satu-satunya Sultan Melaka yang adil dan disenangi rakyat tapi dibenci oleh pembesar-pembesar Melaka pada masa tuh...
P.S: Down with the elite society!!!..

Off Topic
Panthera leo persica
Endangered
The Asian lion once occurred in southeast Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and India. By 1884, it survived only in an area of about 3,000 square kilometres in northern India抯 Gir Forest, under the private protection of the ruler of the small state. Official protection by the imperial government was given in 1900, but with increasing human population, overgrazing, and destruction of forest cover, suitable habitat was reduced to about 1,300 square kilometres. In 1957, three African lions, hardly different from their Asiatic relatives, were released in the Gir Forest sanctuary. Their increase has indicated that such an approach may ensure the continued existence of the lion in Asia. About 85 Asian lions survive in captivity. |

Sya penah gi Upper Bangkok tak? Diorang kate kat belah utara Siam tuh la yang pure Siam (Siam jati) Kat belah selatan cam Pattani tuh sebenarnya org Melayu cam Melayu kat sini gak...diorang semua ade Dwi name i.e: 1 name siam, 1 name Melayu. Tapi name dalam IC name Siam la kire macam name rasmi.
Kalau kat belah Bangkok (bahagian tengah) ramai Cina, maybe sebab Cina nie aktif dalam ekonomi so diorang ramai dok bandar.
Manakala belah utara nie yang ramai Siam Jati...Pergh...kulit diorang putih gebu licin bukan macam kulit Cina, putih tapi kasar (cam mat saleh la...) mata bundar, hidung mancung....tapi bab cakap hancur...prang chai pai klong.... |
