The hit drama series HERO in 2001 will be making a comeback in the form of a drama SP in July this year where the original cast members will gather once again. The story is about a big IT company doctoring its accounts and how the prosecution department prepares to charge those responsible for the act. Besides the original cast of Kimura Takuya, Matsu Takako, Ootsuka Nene, Abe Hiroshi etc, new additions to the SP will be Tsutsumi Shinichi, Ayase Haruka and Nakai Kiichi.

Inagaki Goro appears in a drama for the first time in 1 year and 3 months and play variety scriptwriter Suzuki Osamu in "Busu no Hitomi ni Koishiteru" based on his love story with his wife Oshima Miyuki. When asked about what he finds difficult about playing this role, Inagaki comments that since he knows the couple personally, he cannot use too much imagination to make his potrayal of the role too exaggerated thus he draws inspiration from the couple directly and tries to appear as natural as possible. As for his partner, Murakami Tomoko who plays the role Miyuki, Inagaki comments that she's a very interesting person who can put on many expressions and is cute like a baby.
As he will begin his stage play next month, Inagaki has to cope with filming and the performance at the same time but he's happy with being able to enjoy acting although he has not gone to play golf for a long time.
Q: What interesting book have you read recently?
A: The novel version of my drama and "Hakasei no Aishita Suishiki". As I've been too busy recently, I don't have much time for reading but due to work, I've been able to watch a lot of movies though.
Q: What was your childhood dream?
A: To be a astronaut. As such, I was thrilled when I got to meet the Japanese astronaut Noguchi Soichi during SMAPxSMAP. I like to explore the world of the unknown which is also helping me with my acting.
Inagaki Goro, born on 8 Dec 1973 in Tokyo, blood group A. Joined SMAP in 1988 and counts "Sommelier", "Inugamike no Ichizoku", "Onmyouji", "Saimin" and "Warai no Daigaku" as some of his notable drama and movie works. Also active in stage plays and variety shows.

"Hachimitsu to Clover" (Honey and Clover or Hachikuro for short) will be made into a movie to be shown next year. The manga has sold 3.6 million copies to date and is currently shown as an anime on FujiTV where ratings have hit 4% which is rare for an anime shown in the midnight slot.
The story is about 5 youngsters studying in an arts university where they are all holding a torch for someone. Arashi's Sakurai Sho will be acting in his first solo leading movie role as Takemoto Yuta. Aoi Yu will play Hanamoto Hagumi, Morita Shinobu to be played by Iseya Yusuke, Mayama Takumi to be played by Kase Ryo and Yamada Ayumi to be played by Seki Megumi.
Filming will begin in Oct and open in cinemas during summer 06.
The anime's first volume DVD will be sold from 26 Aug onwards.
