Yes I read. At least Muslim women are in better position compared to the Christian women who had to fight for their rights - Women's Liberation.

Dear Baiduri,

First yu say that Muslimahs have equal rights with men.
Now you are forced to admit wrong but turn around to say that Christian women have to fight for equal rights. They goit their equal righst and are enjoying it. The same cannot be said of muslimahs.
Muslimahs cannot fight for equal rights under islam, but be traeted as secong class humans. Thats terrible.

Its no wonder muslaimahs are treated like objects by muslim men.

My response:-

Muslims may be barbaric due to their wrong acts b'coz they're only ordinary human beings like the Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews etc but not Islam. B'coz Islam clearly defines the rights of the Muslim women & even PARADISE lies at the feet of Muslim Mothers & not Muslim Fathers! I know it's heartbreaking & not easy for you to learn that women are nothing more in your Bible but sex objects in your Holy Book!

Your women had to fight for Women's Liberation & their freedom in court & not by the Christian Laws. Even to get divorced, you guys have to go to court b'coz your religion forbids divorce! No matter how hard your women tried, they're still sex objects. Perhaps freedom means indecent dressing!!!

In future if you want to post something, make sure you use your head & pls don't mix man-made laws with religions. Pls make sure you're able to distinguish the wrong acts of human beings & not associate it with religions! Otherwise you're just making fool of yourself here!

I think, a book might help you to understand gender's equality in islam better...

Gender Equality in Islam
Dr. Farid Younos
http://www.authorhouse.com/BookStore/ItemDetail~bookid~12661.aspx

About the Book
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Following the tragic events of September 11th, it has become vital that both non-Muslims and Muslims gain a greater understanding of the religion of Islam. Often misunderstood by those on the outside and misconstrued by those on the inside (the Taliban are a prime example), Islam is in need of clarification. This is especially important in the United States, where the country抯 freedom of speech rights give scholars the unique ability to write, speak, and teach without the strict governmental and religious obstructions often found in the Middle East that usually preclude proper understanding of some of the controversial issues facing Islam. A second book to read by debmey:

The Christian Church: Racial Discrimination, Gender Discrimination Against Women, Human Rights Violator, Financial Discrimination-Ecclesiastical Grants Government Financing of the Churches
by: Andy A. Burkett

About the Book
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a very unusual book that will jolt the senses of its readers with dismay and surprise. It provides a lucid and indepth insight into areas of the churches rarely touched collectively by writers.

It gives a revolting new look of how some churches have practiced racial discrimination, gender discrimination against women, financial discrimination supported governments, autocratic practices of its hierarchy and government's appointments to its hierarchical structure.

Accusations have been made historically of genocide and violence practices that emanated from dispensed judgements through the portals of its hallow, sanctimonious cloisters.

What makes also this book unusual is that it is a marvelous compilation of actual original -in main media reports full of documents cumulative into one book. The reader therefore has an opportunity to analyse, digest for themselves what is read and is not influenced by clad opinions of the compiler .

While it covers only those churches for which the compiler has amassed information, he has had to leave out many more information which he posses in order to limit this book to 225 pages. A descriptive of this book is-"The only one of its kind, collated vividly in words and pictures."

Electronic Book 1403389500 $4.95
Paperback (8.5x11) 1403389519 $13.95

Enjoy reading, ms debmey!

debmey, where's your arrogant?

Hums.. easy question!!!!

That is why i think you had never read anything about Islam.

Let me say clear to you...

There ARE female imams in ISLAM!!!!
When time comes, and there is no male, a female muslim can take in-charge to be an imam for the rest of other females. That is something you havent know!!!

Women cant work and drive cars? Havent you been to any roadways (be it country roads, federal roads, freeways, highways)?

And those in Arabic countries.. if you used to learn politic, was because male dominant... If you want to argue about this.. We have to dig deep to the medieval age, where lady are not even allowed to go to school under the church ruling! Wasnt that sound bad?

In addition, there's no ruling in islam to say that women cant work and drive cars.....

Anywhere you go.. male is dominant over women. They are not strong enough compared to men (though today, we can see many *strong* women). Women tend to be emotional, where men tend to be logically (this even have been proved by psychologist!)... But that doesnt mean testimonial from women will be rejected. Does christian have any rules about this?

If you read your bible, you will come to these verses... see, your religion was and is putting blockade to their women, and if that counts, then all christian women nowadays are committing sin, dont you agree?

34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.

35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

The Book of 1 Corinthians
Chapter 14
KJV

You are losing (and loosing) your logic nowadays.... Ah.. forgot... you are lack of reading.. what a poor debmey!

Debmey, do you need more screenshot from the book? Im sure dont have problem to produce them for you.. 290+ of pages, full with extraordinary contents, and im sure it will give you lessons about your religion.. and as you always say, repent before it is too late!

Another books for Debmey...

Holy Secrets, Holy Lies: The Shocking Story of Sexual Corruption and Abuse of Power Inside the Catholic Church
by: Christine Amoia, MS, RT

http://www.authorhouse.com/BookStore/ItemDetail~bookid~23329.aspx

About the Book

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This book is both shocking and challenging. It alerts readers to the terrifying and unsettling reality of cleric abuse. It also informs the reader to recognize a predator's methods of choosing, grooming and isolating a victim, along with an urgent appeal for victims to take a stand against the pervasive culture of silence that acts as a protection for the abuser. It is the true story of one woman who unknowingly becomes the victim of a psychopath and then finds out that she is one among many who have fallen under his evil spell. This story chronicles an on-going civil case in the Eastern part of the United States, where so far, 79 victims have come forward to the church and reported this particular offender. The facts are true. Names and locations have been changed to protect only the victims. It is a must read for anyone who wants to understand the disturbing issue of cleric abuse from the inside out!

About the Author

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Christine Amoia, the author of Holy Secrets Holy Lies; The Shocking Story of Sexual Corruption and Abuse of Power inside the Catholic Church, is currently employed as an Associate Professor of Health Sciences at a community college. She teaches courses that deal with human sexuality, deviants in society, victimization, self-help areas and victims' rights. Her book is an attempt to reach a society that exists outside her classroom walls.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This story attempts to alert unsuspecting individuals to the dangers of abuse by a power figure; in this particular story, a cleric.  An offender can be anyone in our society... but the one thing he has in common with other predators is that he is capable of gaining the trust of his victims.  This is also a story about secrets; secrets kept by the offender, secrets kept by the Church that employed him and secrets kept by his victims.  This book has been written to stop all the secret keeping and to stop this particular man and other perpetrators from committing crimes against the innocent, for all time.  Once victims learn to recognize the predator抯 methods, he cannot hurt them any longer.  In this particular case, the Church can no longer keep his secrets and protect him, along with their guarded reputations.  Victims can then begin to feel free to share with others, all that they have endured.  And why? Because there are no more secrets being kept by anyone, anymore, anywhere.  No more secrets, no more lies!

After interviewing several victims, including members of the offender抯 family, the author felt compelled to share this story with anyone interested in saving others from the same fate.  The facts are true.  Names and locales have been changed to protect the privacy and well-being of only the victims.  Please note, that this book is not intended to condemn all Catholic priests.  There are good men in the world who are called to the priesthood and live out their vocations to the best of their ability.  It is to these courageous men that the author sincerely sends out words of thanks and praise.  Their holy vision, coupled with their blameless lives, and her faith in an all-knowing God, compels her to remain a practicing and practical Catholic with devotion to the tenets of the true faith.  The author is also careful to remind the reader that true faith is extraneous to the concept of church buildings and hierarchy.  It resides in the soul.

Meaning to say they don't exists lah.
In Christianity, we have women pastor all over the place.

Women cant work and drive cars? Havent you been to any roadways (be it country roads, federal roads, freeways, highways)?

In Saudi where pure islam is practioced, you don't see women driving. Msia is corrupt form of islam cos the leaders are not even muslims.

And those in Arabic countries.. if you used to learn politic, was because male dominant... If you want to argue about this.. We have to dig deep to the medieval age, where lady are not even allowed to go to school under the church ruling! Wasnt that sound bad?

Islam still in medieval age? Thats the problem.

In addition, there's no ruling in islam to say that women cant work and drive cars.....

What abt teh Saudis. R u saying tt yu are more islamic than the rab?

Anywhere you go.. male is dominant over women. They are not strong enough compared to men (though today, we can see many *strong* women). Not true, men and women are equal in civilised societies.
In islam, women are lookd down upon, and live as second class humans, thast why they are considered illogical and not trusted in syariah.
