3:29pm Majlis Peguam - Selepas arahan untuk bersurai dikeluarkan, tembakan meriam air dan gas pemedih mata dilepaskan ke atas orang ramai di luar bangunan Majlis Peguam di Lebuh Pasar Besar.

3.24pm Masjid Jamek - Di hadapan stesen LRT orang ramai enggan berganjak dan melaungkan "BERSIH" walaupun gas pemedih mata dilepaskan ke arah mereka.

Mereka berundur setiap kali gas pemedih mata ditembak, tetapi kembali semula selepas itu.

3.20pm: Dataran Merdeka - kawat duri di Lebuh Pasar Besar dialih oleh orang ramai. Mereka kemudian mengalihkan penghalang plastik.Kira-kira 30 anggota polis yang bersenjatakan cota, perisai dan topeng gas bergerak membentuk benteng.
Peserta dan polis kini bersemuka tanpa apa-apa di antara mereka. Ada yang bergambar manakala yang lain duduk di atas jalan menghadap polis. Komander polis bagi kawasan tersebut duduk di atas trak polis dengan pembesar suara tetapi belum mengeluarkan sebarang arahan.

3.15pm - Lagi gas pemedih mata di tembak di kawasan Coliseum di Jalan TAR.

3.13pm - Sebahagian peserta berundur ke jalan Pudu ekoran tembakan gas pemedih mata.

3.10am Masjid Jamek - lebih banyak gas pemedih mata dilepaskan berhampiran stesen LRT Masjid Jamek. Difahamkan beberapa peserta yang cuba melanggar larangan memasuki Dataran Merdeka, telah ditangkap.

3.08pm Polis terpaksa lepas gas pemedih mata apabila peserta cuba rempuh halangan, demikian menurut tweet polis.

Thousands of protesters gathered in the Malaysian capital Saturday to demand electoral reforms, defying a lockdown of central Kuala Lumpur that left it a maze of razor wire and barricades.

Groups of protesters gathered at various points around the city, intent on challenging an official ban on holding their rally at 2:00 pm (0600 GMT) at Independence Square in the heart of the congested capital.

But a heavy police presence hindered movement into the city center, including about 2,000 armed police deployed around the sealed-off square as a police helicopter buzzed low overhead.

“(The police) shouldn’t be here. We just want to march in peace and make our voices heard. We want a fair election,” said Nour Yusoff, 29, a kindergarten teacher from eastern Terengganu state who came by bus to join the rally.

The mass rally follows one crushed by police last July, when 1,600 people were arrested, and marks a major test for Prime Minister Najib Razak, who has sought to burnish his reform credentials ahead of widely expected polls.

(Reuters) - Up to 20,000 protesters calling for fair elections and greater accountability marched on Kuala Lumpur's center on Saturday in a show of force that will test the Malaysian government's reformist pledges and may affect the timing of national polls.

Police shut down much of the city center and closed off the historic Merdeka (Independence) Square with barriers and barbed wire, enforcing a court order that the protesters should not enter the symbolically important site.

The Bersih (Clean) group that is leading the protest says it will obey the ban but will march as close as possible to the square, raising the possibility of a repeat of violent clashes that marred Bersih's last major protest in July 2011.

"Now it looks like we will have to fight for our right to gather at Merdeka Square as well as fight for free and fair elections," said Muhammed Hafiz, a 28-year-old store clerk who was preparing to join the protest.

At least 25,000 protesters had marched on the city's historic Merdeka (Independence) square to demand changes to an electoral system they say is unfair ahead of national polls that could be held within months.

kalau betul kerajaan gentar dengan tindakan sebegini dan mengubah cara seperti yang dikehendaki oleh rakyat..kita tengoklah keputusan pilihanraya nanti..

i tak arif bab politik..tp kekadang pelik..berlaku pertukaran kuasa mendadak ..contoh ..dulu Perak dikuasai pembangkang..tetiba BN ambil alih..kenapa ya?
