[NEWS] Big Bang transforms into rock stars for W Korea's latest collaboration (2011/03/20)
The members of Big Bang recently participated in a collaboration photo shoot between “W Korea,” “10 CORSO COMO Seoul” and OnStyle’s “Style Magazine.”
The photo shoot was completed under the theme of expressing what goes on behind-the-scenes of the lives of rock stars once they leave the glitz and glam of the stage. “W Korea” took charge of the photo shoot fashion film for “Style Magazine” to exclusively air. “10 CORSO COMO Seoul” will also be displaying and selling the shirts, jumpers, and smart phone cases designed personally by the Big Bang members themselves.
The impressive collaboration project will be unveiled for the first time through 10 CORSO COMO Seoul’s launching party on March 24th. Behind-the-scenes stories and cuts can be seen through OnStyle at 11 PM KST on the same day.

[NEWS] Big Bang will begin new activities with a 4.5 Album!
Big Bang will return with a 4.5 album.
Big Bang made their comeback in 2 years, and 3 months with their fourth mini-album title song ‘Tonight’ and swept #1 on all music charts and programs.
After sweeping all programs follow-up activities become harder for Big Bang, for this reason instead of doing follow-up activities, during the first week of April Big Bang will begin new activities with their 4.5 album.
Big Bang’s agency YG Entertainment ssaid “For Big Bang’s 4.5 album the existing songs plus 4 new ones will be added. The title track for this album hasn’t yet been set.” he said.
Big Bang’s 4th mini-album consisted of a total of 6 songs, the Intro, Tonight, What Is Right?, Somebody to Love, Hands Up and Cafe.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon’s ‘Tonight’ performances on stage while smashing a guitar have been a hot topic.

[NEWS] YG Life teaser for Big Bang’s comeback?
YG Entertainment has just unveiled a mysterious image on their official ‘YG-Life‘ blog.
Speculations are running rampant over the context of the message which was unveiled on the night of March 26th, which reads “I Hate This Love Song !“.
Considering how YGE is preparing for both 2NE1’s comeback and Big Bang’s 4.5 re-packaged album in April, we’re guessing that the two different colors in the message are hints at the two title tracks from the groups.source:akp

Big Bang to return with double title tracks, “Love Song” + “Stupid Liar”
Big Bang will be continuing their promotions with double title tracks, “Love Song” and “Stupid Liar,” from their upcoming special album!
The YG-Life blog previously teased about the release with an image that read “I HATE THIS LOVE SONG!”, and officials have confirmed that the line is actually a part of the lyrics for “Love Song”!
YG Entertainment revealed, “‘Love Song’ has a bit of a different feel from the songs Big Bang has previously released, so we’re expecting fans to feel something new. ‘Stupid Liar’ was a track that the boys debated over with ‘Tonight‘ as the title track for their 4th mini-album. The song itself features a guitar riff with a rock genre that’s both speedy and powerful. It really brings out their vocals and raps.”
They continued, “As it is the first time the boys are making a special edition album, we’re going all out with the jacket design and the album’s overall packaging. It is disappointing that they will only be promoting for a three week period, but we’ll be working hard to make sure that they greet their fans more frequently.”
Their Korean promotions will thus only last until May 1st due to Big Bang’s Japanese tour, which is scheduled for May through June. Meanwhile, broadcast appearances for Big Bang will be restricted for about two weeks in order to allow the boys to film their music video and rehearse their choreographies.
Due to a lack of time, they will only be filming the music video for “Love Song,” which will be released on April 15th. In addition, Daesung’s solo track, “Baby Don’t Cry,” which was previously shown at the February “Big Show” concert, will also be included in the album.
Their first broadcast will be on April 10th through SBS’s “Inkigayo” where they will meet their fans once again on stage by performing their double title tracks.

A total of 10 songs will be on this album, including songs from the 3 solo albums of each member, Seungri’s album, Taeyang’s album and GD&TOP’s album. Also songs from Big Bang’s 4th mini album… The “Special Edition” album will be a collection of the music the Big Bang members released for the past year.
In their five years of promoting Big Bang has never released a repackaged or best album of the same type, since this is their first time for Big Bang to release one, this “Special Edition” will have really special and enriching album packages, as well as jacket designing.
The “Special Edition” will contain a double title track, with “LOVE SONG” and “STUPID LIAR” being the two title songs. (A music video for “LOVE SONG” is scheduled to be released on April 15th)
YG gave a hint 2 days ago in the blog with “I Hate This Love Song!” that is actually a phrase G-DRAGON sings from the main melody in “LOVE SONG”. This song has quite a different atmosphere from any other song Big Bang has ever released and we expect the song will be able to deliver a new impression on fans.
“STUPID LIAR” was completed prior to the release of the 4th mini-album and was a fierce competition against the title track “Tonight” but we decided to save this song for this album.
The song will feature a strong and fast guitar riff with rock tendencies that laps really well with the member’s Big Bang vocals and rap.
Finally, Daesung’s solo performed last February during Big Bang’s Concert “BIG SHOW”, “BABY DON’T CRY” will also be included in this special edition album.
Broadcast Plans:
Big Bang’s first broadcast on April 10 has been confirmed to be on SBS’s “Inkigayo” and the double title tracks will be showcase.
Because Big Bang is scheduled for May-June for their Japanese Tour Dates the album’s activities are expected to go up until May 1st.
The short activity period of three weeks or less is sad, but but they will try to go on as many broadcasts as possible so fans can see them.
