Tiger Woods Wants to Meet Song Seung-heon

Golfer Tiger Woods (29) is actively promoting a meeting with one of Korea's top stars, Song Seung-heon (28). According to a source with Song's broadcasting management in Japan, Tiger Woods' people recently showed great interest in meeting up with Song this October during Woods' visit to South Korea.

The fact that the worldwide top star Woods, who is actively taking part in the PGA Tour, knows Song is a topic of conversation. According to the source above, Woods' mother, who is from Thailand, is a great fan of Song, after seeing him on "Autumn In My Heart." So it's presumed Woods learned of Song through his mother.

Woods' mother requested, "When there is a chance for Woods to visit Asia, the managing office should promote them two meeting." Moreover, when Woods visits Japan or Korea, his mother is planning on going with him. Woods' mother said, "I wished that I could meet Song," and this shows how great a fan Woods' mother is. There won't be any hardships on planning the meeting once Woods' visiting days are set.

Since Woods is scheduled to stay in Korea for only two to three days, if the meeting gets cancelled, the two stars will meet up in Japan. Woods is planned to visit Japan right after his stay in Korea, as is Song, who will promote his drama, "Summer Scent," which is to be released by Japan's WowWow TV.

6/23/, 6/24, 6/26/04 - On 6/23, Japanese popular dubbing actress Okamoto Aya (오카모토 아야 presents a bouquet to Song Seung Hun during the press conference held at Seoul Plaza Hotel. Okamoto Aya interviews SSH about his acting career and the drama "Summer Scent" which will be aired in November in Japan.

On 6/24, Song Seung Hun receives Tiger Woods' invitation to meet either in Korea or in Japan. Tiger Woods' mother is a fan of SSH after she watched "Autumn Tales" in Thailand, and she asks Tiger to arrange a meeting with SSH. SSH's agency will discuss the details of the meeting.  Since "Summer Scent" is scheduled to be aired by NHK in November, Japanese news media are going to have a series of interviews with SSH.

On 6/25, Song Seung Hun meets his Japanese fan at Cheju Island.  In his fan meeting, his friend singer Jo Sung Mo (조성모 ) sings several songs in the event.  In return, SSH sings a Japanese song "Goodbye Day (굿바이데이 )" and his fans give him big round of applause. SSH's agency also prepares 500 T-Shirts for the fans.

but after actress lee mi kyung died of lung cancer recently, he felt that it was really time to quit
he remembered lee mi kyung's message before her death about not smoking and learning to quit smoking.

so he started to stop smoking once more, throwing away all cigarettes in his possession
at first it was hard and his hand shook and his heart paced but now that it's been 3 months since his last cigarette, he says his body feels a lot lighter
