I am very very bitchy and cranky today.
I specifically told the secretary NOT TO GIVE MY CHECK TO MY BOSS. Just keep it till I come get it. Bukan apa, my boss is always unavailable as he is sometimes out of the area.
It turned out, the secretary nak amik cuti last Tuesday, so Monday afternoon she called me to say that she's leaving the check to my boss - and I didn't get the call sbb my trustworthy phone pulak KONG. SO she gave my chek to my boss.
Today I sent a message to my boss asking him if he would be around on Monday next week because I would like to pick up my check. Boss called me up telling me he won't be available then because he'd be busy with his other thing. And he was a feeling a bit guilty because he had overlooked the matter. He said he's got a lot to handle lately that it just slipped his mind... Jawapan aku "yes, you are OLD".
I told him grimly that, I am gonna be around the office next Monday and while I am there, might as well I get it and I don't want to be making frequent trips. Dengan garangnya huhuhu... And very very bitchy.
THen boss called me again saying he will try to make it on Monday to give me my check - and that would cost him long drive, like over an hour and then back. So I thanked him in advance and to end the conversation I said, "I am on my way to the shower, please don't stop me".. his responds would be immaterial lol.
Then aku terfikir sendirik... I made my boss agree to do things my way, I bossed my own boss. Bad bad bad... I owe him an apology and I will tell him that next week.
Heh, when I am in this kind of mood, even my boss cannot say NO to me. |
