The latest rumor regarding MBLAQ is that the group may actually manage to keep it together after all. Yes, even after it was reported that the group would disband after a November album due to the departures of Lee Joon and Thunder, J. Tune Camp is apparently trying to make things work by allowing the two members to be represented by other agencies but still remaining in the group.
According to multiple music insiders in an exclusive by OBS, despite the approaching contract expiration of some members including Lee Joon, all of the members might be deciding to continue on as MBLAQ. Even if a member decides not to renew his contract with J.Tune Camp, a plan might be worked out so that the member can promote with the rest of the group even if he joins another agency.
One source stated, “It seems that even if a member decides not to renew their contract with their current agency as the expiration of their contract approaches, it doesn’t seem like he will leave the team itself…. If he does decide to renew his contract, the activities will naturally go forward, but even if their agencies are to be different, they are of the mindset that they want to continue their individual activities with MBLAQ activities.”
