Actor Lee Byung Hun will make a friendship performance in the movie version of popular Japanese drama 'HERO'. 'HERO' starring Japan national actor Takuya Kimura and Takako Matsu was broadcasted in Fuji Television Network in 2001. Lee Byung Hun And Kimura Takuya To Make Special Movie Appearance
Top star Lee Byung Hun will meet Japan's most popular star, Kimura Takuya in a film.
Lee Byung Hun's agency, BH Entertainment revealed on the 17th that "Lee Byung Hun will make a pro bono appearance in 'Hero,' a movie starring Kimura Takuya."
"Hero," a popular drama which debuted in 2001 on Fuji TV starred Kimura Takuya and Matsu Takako, and had over 30% of viewer ratings at the time. Even in Korea, it was broadcasted on cable and satellite TV.
This time, the drama "Hero," which will be turned into a movie, will feature the same main characters, and Lee Byung Hun will make a pro bono appearance opposite Kimura Takuya as a Korean police investigator. He will support Kimura Takuya, who plays a Japanese investigator who came to Korea to investigate a case.
About acting together in a film with Lee Byung Hun, Kimura Takuya expressed his expectations: "I think of it as an honor to work together in this world of movies. Even if the language is different, I want to enjoy the filming as we work for the same goal."
The "Hero" filming crew will be in Pusan this month to film on location. Presently, Lee Byung Hun, who is in the middle of filming the movie "Good Guy, Bad Guy, and Strange Guy" by director Kim Ji Woon, plans to have two days available to shoot "Hero."
This movie will also have a new actor Baek Do Bin, who is son of a movie actor Baek Yoon Shik, and will play the role of a Korean assistant who helps the Japanese police's investigation, and Ahn Gil Gang will play a Korean crime syndicate boss.

Filming for 'Hero' begins

Filming for the movie "HERO" recently began at the Osanbashi Hall in Yokohama. The film, directed by Masayuki Suzuki, is a continuation of the popular 2001 drama series starring Takuya Kimura and Takako Matsu. That series averaged a 34.3% rating, and its popularity was proven again when a special episode that aired last year achieved a 30.9% rating.
The movie features the public prosecutor Kuryu (Takuya Kimura) back at work in Tokyo, along with the cast from the original series. He gets placed in charge of a seemingly small case, but an unexpected turn of events turns it into his most difficult one yet.
Filming is scheduled to end during the middle of next month, and the movie is expected to be fully completed by early August. The movie opens in theaters on September 8.

Lee Byung-Hun added to 'HERO' cast

It was announced on Tuesday that Korean star Lee Byung-Hun will appear in the upcoming "HERO" film, starring Takuya Kimura. He plays the role of a Korean prosecutor, completely opposite in personality from the unconventional Kohei Kuryu (Kimura). The two meet when Kuryu travels to Busan, Korea in pursuit of a case.
This is Lee's first appearance in a Japanese film. It is also the first time in the "HERO" series that filming has taken place overseas.

Maybe cakap omputih sikit2 kot... tak pun... guna translator Japanese-Korean. Tak sabar nak tengok gambar bila BH jumpa Takuya nanti.... macamana nanti. Banyak jugak keluar berita pasal they all nak berlakon sekali.
