bagi sy semua poremer kat sini hebat2 belaka dlm bidang/kemahiran/ilmu/kepakaran masing2. walaupun duduk di rumah tak semestinya tidak tahu apa2. sekurang2 nya berkongsi idea dlm porem ni
respect each other, jangan pandang terlalu rendah dan jangan pandang terlalu tinggi. maka boleh berporem dgn aman. chill k!

Aviation expert says possible mass military cover-up in MH370 probe

Revelations that Thai military took ten days before reporting radar blips that could have been the lost Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 have led a leading aviation expert to raise the possibility of a mass cover-up by Asian military officials.
David Learmount said that some countries may be withholding radar information because they do not want to expose holes in their air defences, reported MailOnline, the online version of the British Daily Mail.
Learmount wrote in his blog: "Maybe these states’ air defences, like Malaysia’s, are not what they are cracked up to be.
"And maybe they wouldn’t want the rest of the world to know that," he said in apparent reference to earlier reports that the Malaysian Air Force had only revealed that their radar had spotted the missing aircraft days after its disappearance.
Learmount, a former pilot and now operations and safety editor at online aviation portal Flightglobal, said that MH370 might have flown over several Asian countries including Thailand, Burma, China, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan.
He said some of these countries may be withholding vital radar data about flight MH370 for fear it would expose gaping holes in their expensive air defences.
If it emerges that an unidentified aircraft had been able to fly over a territory undetected and unchallenged it would amount to an embarrassing security failure, he said.
"The Malaysian government has called upon all the countries to the northwest as far as Turkmenistan and the Caspian Sea to check their primary radar records for unidentified contacts in their airspace in the seven hours after the B777 went missing.
"Depending on the actual track the aircraft followed, if it had headed approximately northwest, this could include some – if not all – of the following countries: Thailand, Myanmar/Burma, China, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Turkmenistan.
"If the aircraft had gone that way, surely military primary radar in one of those countries – or several – would have picked up the signal from this unidentified aircraft, and the vigilant radar operator would have scrambled a fighter to intercept the intruder?" Learmount said, as quoted by the Mail Online.
He said the Malaysian military had clearly let an unidentified aircraft pass through its territory without bothering to take any action and was, therefore, not keen to admit it.
For the critical first three days, the search was focused on the South China Sea where the plane was said to have made the last contact.
However, when the Malaysian military reported the sighting on their radar which showed the plane over the Strait of Malacca, it was obvious that search teams had been looking in the wrong area.
Search and rescue efforts shifted focus to the Andaman Sea and subsequently it was expanded.
Now, the search area encompasses 2.24 million square nautical miles, from the Caspian Sea in the north to the edge of the Indian Ocean in the south.
Flight MH370 took off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 12.41am heading for Beijing, China.
Its transponder, which allows air traffic controllers to identify and track the airplane, ceased communicating at 1.20am. – March 19, 2014. |

nak tanya.. b777 tu.. klu dimatikan enjin mmg bleh glide eh?
n boleh ke matikan enjin then dihidupkan blk?
