Kim Hyun Joong Currently Holds Highest Record Sales Among Solo Artists in 2011
Kim Hyun Joong currently holds the highest sales record among solo artists this year.
On the online Hanteo Charts, which are considered to be one of the most accurate charts in Korea, the rankings for highest record sales from January 1 to November 7 were announced.
Although Kim Hyun Joong is part of an idol group, he released two solo albums and has sold a total of over 200,000 copies. He currently stands at number one at the solo artist category and at third place overall.
He sold around 110,000 copies of his mini album, "Break Down," which was released this past June. His second mini album, "Lucky," sold about 100,000 copies in just three weeks.
The combination of Kim Hyun Joong's two mini album record sales exceeded many idol groups such as Super Junior and Big Bang. He is the first solo artist to do so this year.
If record sales from Japan are included, the total number would exceed 200,000 by a large amount. Furthermore, the numbers are expected to continue increasing when he starts his Japan tour and the 2012 Asia Tour.
Kim Hyun Joong will start touring Japan in eight different cities in the middle of November.

Kim Hyun Joong ranks first on Hanteo chart
Kim Hyun Joong recently ranked first on the Hanteo chart.
The Hanteo chart announced the ranking with album sales from January 1, and November 7, 2011.
Kim ranked first, recording over two hundred thousand album sales, with only two albums in the solo singer category. In the overall ranking, he came in third.
Kim’s first mini album Breakdown recorded over one hundred ten thousand album sales in June. Then his second mini album, which was released in October, recorded over one hundred thousand album sales in three weeks.
Considering the current album market, this is an enormous number. Besides idol groups, including Super Junior and Big Bang, Kim is the first solo singer to record over two hundred album sales with only two albums in Korea.
Kim will go on a Japanese tour starting on the 15th in eight Japanese cities (Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, Sendai, Hiroshima, Yokohama, Nagoya, Fukuoka).

On yesterday’s episode of Mnet’s “The Beatles Code,” Kim Hyun Joong explained, “I would like to marry someone who is not materialistic.” He added, “As a guy, I don’t understand why girls like expensive bags. I just don’t see the difference between a bag that costs $10,000 and a bag that costs $20. They’re exactly the same.”
In Korea, it’s customary for the bride and groom’s family to exchange dowries and wedding gifts, called paemul. Kim Hyun Joong stated, “The gifts can cost $500-600K or more, and it seems absurd to get a loan to buy them just because a wedding is ‘once in a lifetime.’” The singer actor has already mentioned before that he wanted about four children; and during the show, he surprised everyone by stating out the qualifications for his future wife: “She has to be fecund and unmaterialistic.”
When asked if those two qualifications were it, Kim Hyun Joong gave a cold look and said “Most importantly, she must be pretty” in a matter-of-fact way. Then host Yoon Jong Shin laughingly added, “Pretty, kind, unmaterialistic, and someone who’s willing to have a lot of children? I think there’s a high chance you’ll stay single until over forty.” |

itu serius punye tak materialistik tu.....elok sgt2 tu...mase aku kawin dlu pun aku takde pelamin gak.....sgt2 simple....baju nikah pun baju kurung biasa jer.....mekap sendiri....sbb mase tu arwah ayah pesan, benda2 perhiasan ni tak perlu....yg pntg lebihkn duit utk bg org makan.....klau blh biar org yg dtg kenduri tu, puas hati dgn juadah yg kita sediakn....
bagus kn HJ ni.....aku tak sangka plak dia nk anak smpi 4.....dia adult phobia, tp suka bdk kot yer....slalunye org skrg ni nak anak sorg dua jer.... |

yer betul tuhhh biar org puji makanan sedap aand kenyang ... alhamdulillah , aku rasa la naper dia lnak anak byk sebab dia mesti ada rasa regret kat parents dia , bila dia lari rumah , tgal abg dia jaga parents ... then bila abg dia masuk askar ... tgal berdua jer, sunyi ... so mungkin la dia tak nak rasa macam tuhhh ... so klu anak ramai boleh takder la dia sunyi ....
