Very coincidentally, the end-of-concert celebration was held at Majestic Hotel, which is the hotel I was staying at. Therefore, after the concert had ended on the last night, instead of waiting at the yellow gate as usual to wait for Leon to come out of the coliseum, we rushed straight back to our hotel.

When we reached our hotel, there were already fans waiting outside and security staff at the ground floor. Since we were the hotel's guests, we just walked straight in and no one stopped us. We still did not know where exactly in the hotel the celebration will be held until we reached the hotel lobby at level 1, there were 2 Leon Crazy Classic Concert posters, 1 black 1 orange, at the entrance to the hotel's cafe. Knowing that there would be some time before Leon arrived, we went up to our room first.

When one of my friends and I came down again to the lobby, there were already fans at the lift lobby and all along the path from the escalator to the cafe, not forgetting those fans at the ground floor too. Then, the alarm sounded - fans calling Leon from downstairs, that means Leon had arrived!! But most of my friends were still upstairs. While my friend called to tell them to come down quickly, I heard the shouts get nearer as Leon came up the escalator. Very quickly, I saw him. With heads and hands blocking my view, I just took my chance and aimed my camera. Luckily, the picture that turns out is clear and Leon is in it (see below).

That was the last time I saw Leon in real person for this trip to Hong Kong. We had missed Leon coming out again as we had not thought that he would be leaving so soon. Nevertheless, without this miss, we would have missed the spectacular sight of how Leon leave the hotel. From the window of our hotel room, we saw his van was all surrounded by 20 - 30 security staff who had to run along with the van until it went into the main road. Fans were running after the van. Luckily, all these happened at a small road with no traffic. If it happens at a road with traffic, it would become a road block, like what happened outside the coliseum on 14 October. Leon's van was stopped by the traffic light, so all the fans swarmed up to his van where it stopped in the middle of the road. There were vehicles behind and in front, so you can imagine how dangerous it was and how difficult it was to get the traffic moving again.

After Leon left, we came down to the lobby again. There were no more fans at the lobby, but there were still guests leaving the place. So we just waited there and said bye bye to people we recognised, like Ah Mark, Kwong Leong etc when they walked pass us.

Finally, all the guests had left, and we started to take photos with the 2 posters at the entrance of the cafe. As we really liked the posters very much, we started contemplating asking the hotel staff to give us the posters. One of my friends finally made the first move to ask the staff at the cafe entrance to give us the posters. The friendly staff agreed and started to help us tear down the orange poster carefully. As we were a bit too excited and created quite a bit of noise, he told us to do it quietly and quickly as we were stealing something, haha. Then I continued to ask him to give us the other poster (the black one) as well. So now, the exactly the same black poster which was hung up at the entrance of the end-of-concert celebration (my friend would add: the one that Leon had seen and walked passed before) is hanging in my bedroom : )

We actually also wanted the posters inside the cafe as well, but the staff said we had to come back later for the posters inside as they were still clearing up. There is also no guarantee as the staff themselves would probably tear them down for themselves. When we came back, the posters were gone, as predicted : (

In Media Asia's HK$30 million investment on the new movie Moonlight in Tokyo, Leon acts in a role of a mentally handicapped person. It's his biggest breakthrough since he started filming. At the same time in the movie, he was force to become a gigolo by Chapman To. He also suggested to add new ideas on the promotion posters and requested to find a duck as a partner. However, his manager Joe Chen urged him that it's the time of the bird flu breakout and is worried that the ducks are contagious. Leon persisted and asked the workers from the movie company to find a duck.

Leon said, "That is because everyone is scared of the bird flu. Actually, if only people are familiar with the bird flu, they don't have to worry too much. From my understanding, this virus can be completely eliminated when cooking for a minute in 100 degrees temperature. As long as everyone watch what they're eating, pay attention to health, and exercise more so they can withstand this." He knew the remainder of the ducks can enter HK and understood that ducks are not easy to find. He said, "If it's easy to find, then there's no need to find it. Then can go buy it. I didn't request the workers to violate the law by smuggling a duck into HK. It's only that months before, when reading an article in the newspapers, someone brought a duck from home to a church to be baptized. To be taken care of by its master, it's healthy so it's not wrong. I only hope that the workers find this kind of duck, because I feel that shooting the poster with a duck is quite interesting. A good idea should be persisted, so I hope they attempt to look for it! So if everyone who personally raises healthy ducks locally, please contact our movie company. Generously compensated!"

Acting this role, Leon has never worried about affecting his image. He said, "Being an actor, the first thing to do is put away oneself. In the movie, act another person who completely does not belong to their own role. If only watching for Leon, there's no use to buying tickets to watch my movies. Watch my concerts instead. Therefore, this time the audience will definitely have a surprise!" In the movie photos, Leon is seen holding a Japanese magazine Tempatation. When asked if he was very happy looking at it, Leon immediately smiled and said, "That time, I was into my role. Simply couldn't see anything in the magazine having what temptation! Haha!"

Leon attended a press conference held simultaneously with the Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore media for the premiere of his music movie, A Story, on the Star Chinese Movie channel. Then, he attended Community Chest's "The World's Biggest Donation Box" roadshow at Times Square.

Mr Leon Lai MH, Board of Directors of Community Chest, performed in the finale of the Community Chest Charity Show. He sang his classic songs - Blue Street Lamp, Unspoken Words of Deep Feelings and Summer Love.

Leon and TW's Rena Fang filmed a music movie A Story and will be broadcasted tonight on Star TV. At the premiere yesterday, Leon said he didn't invite Shu Qi because she's expensive.

Regarding Shu Qi being nomiated for the Golden Horse best actress award, Leon frankly said that he has not phone to congratulate her. If he makes a call that would affect the results, then he'll definitely not call. Will he put their rumors on the silver screen? He said that it's impossible because nobody will coordinate to do it and the audience will have a nosey point of view. He felt that his private life is very healthy and will absolutely not film as a movie. Otherwise, only fear it's too commercialized. In the music movie, there's a line, "Wanting to forget a phone number is more difficult than remembering a phone number!" He pointed out that he remembered most coming to HK from the mainland his phone number was 312521. As for Charlie Yeung, Michele Reis, and Shu Qi, whose phone number do you have out of the three? He frankly said that he somewhat have and somewhat doesn't have. As for whose number, it's his private matter.

In the music movie, besides a bed scene with the actress, there's also a kissing scene. There's a scene in the movie where the actress handcuffs Leon. Leon frankly said, "In real life, there's no need to use handcuffs. Men needs to go back and forth. Absolutely will not handcuff to a girl. (Have you been tied up by a person?) No. Although can tie up a person's body, the heart will still change." He understands that when a relationship has gone to liking each other, they will fear of losing each other. Doesn't hesistate to tie up each other. A lot of times a girl will ask him "If both your mom and I jump in the ocean, who would you save?" Leon smiled and said at that time he will say he don't know how to swim to solve this difficult problem. Shortly afterwards, Leon will promote his album in the mainland. Because of the bird flu outbreak, will he consider to postpone the promotions? He said that it's difficult to avoid the arrangement by fate. Leon joked that if he sees a bird, he'll walk faster.

In other news, Leon, Justin Lo, and Endy Chow attended Community Chest's World's Biggest Donation Box event at Times Square in Causway Bay which attracted many of Leon's fans to donate. The most donated by a fan was HK$3,000. Leon even praised the fans for being warmhearted.

Also, speaking on Ms. Chan who claimed Leon as her middle school classmate, reported to a news media that revealed she falsely accused of Leon borrowing money from her, and he was slapped by her mother. Recently, Ms. Chan's husband owed a big debt. Without means, she asked Leon to lend her money. She never thought that Leon didn't mind the past animosity and immediately lend her money. She was touched. When asked to prove this, Leon expressed that he was mischievous during school and had a serious offense which frequently have meetings with a guardian. As for whether or not being slapped by the classmate's mother, Leon expressed that he doesn't remember. When asked again if he lend any money, he pointed out that he occasionally lend money to people. He regret most is the HK$100 that he lent out twenty years ago. Twenty years later seeing the person in TVB, the person didn't pay him back. Leon said that person is not an entertainer.

The night before, Happy Valley was filled with celebrities like Leon, Cecilia Cheung, Anita Yeung, and others. Each have their separate meetings.

Recently, continuously attending public events, Leon was free for half a day and met with his good friend Charles Kwan to get foot massages. Although they encounter reporters, it didn't ruin their pleasures. Leon was friendly and expressed that he just finished attending an event. Because he stood for so long, both his feet were very tired, so he met with his good friend to get foot massages.

The night before, Leon rushed to two places. First, he arrived at Times Square in Causeway Bay for the topping ceremony of the World's Biggest Donation Box. Then, he immediatedly rushed to TVB City to perform last at the Community Chest show. Leon spares no effort for charity. When asked if he ever thought of establishing his own foundation, he feels that his ability is limited so it is not necessary to establish one.

Leon and Faye's friendship is sincere. Regarding Faye Wong being pregnant again, after listening, Leon's first reaction was to ask the reporters, "Admit already? I didn't phone to congratulate her." He said that he will heartfeltly bless her. Seeing his close friends getting married and having kids, does he have any impulse to do the same? Leon expressed that he did not thought about this. A family needs something to maintain. Having a kid is like having a middle person and it's like a manager.

According to what he said, Faye will then have two managers? Leon said that Faye have another man to love her. Other than loving Faye's daughter, he'll love her and the baby.

As for Leon, does he think he'll be a good father? He expressed that he did not thought about this. He'll let fate arrange it. He said that women know how to cry. With having some temptation, they can easily get sympathy. Have he experienced this before? He said no but there were many in scripts.

Leon attended a press conference in Beijing, where it was announced that he will be the image ambassador for the 6th Winter Asian Games in Changchun 2007. Besides singing the theme song and filming the promotional clip, he might also be one of the torchbearers if Hong Kong is one of the stops for the torch relay.

Yesterday, Leon was in Beijing to attend the ceremony press conference of the 6th Winter Asian Games.

The current 2007 Winter Games will be held in ChangChun. There were no image ambassadors for the past five Winter Games. Leon is first to be appointed as the Winter Games image ambasssador. Other than singing the themesong, there's an opportunity to pass the torch because HK is possibly one of the places where competitions will be stationed. Regards to becoming an image ambassador, Leon excitedly said, "I'm very happy. This event happens once every four years. The last time was held in Japan. This time it's in ChangChun. The Chinese athletes have remarkable results each time, so I also feel honored."

The press conference was supposed to be held at 4:30pm, but started at 5pm because Leon was performing in Nanjing the night before. The only opportunity was to fly to Beijing yesterday morning. Because of the thick fog in Nanjing, it delayed the flight. Leon can only arrived at 3pm in Beijing. At the session, Leon accepted a certificate issued by ChangChun's Deputy Mayor. When asked if he likes Winter Games or Summer Games, Leon expressed that he loves to ski in the winter because he feels it's very fun.

Moreover, regarding the bomb in the mail at Mingpao's media office and HK$30 million extortion matter, the suspect requested the money to be donated to Community Chest. As an ambassador to the Community Chest, when Leon learned of the news, he said, "Too bad! Leave it for the police to handle it!"

Leon went to Beijing to attend a press conference for "Happy 2006 Leon Beijing Concert" to be held at the Beijing Workers Gymnasium on 31 December 2005. This will be the last concert held at the Beijing Workers Gymnasium before it closes for renovation in preparation for the 2008 Olympic Games.

Yesterday afternoon, Leon arrived to the nation's capital Beijing to hold a press conference for Happy 2006 Leon Beijing Concert and officially announced that he will soon hold a concert at the Beijing Worker's Stadium on December 31st at 7:30pm.

Happy 2006 Leon Beijing Concert is Leon's second time returning to his hometown for a concert after his four shows in 1992. Beijing-born Heavenly King, Leon expressed that a person who was born and raised wherever is impossible to forget. "This time coming back, the feeling has changed greatly. I was born in Beijing, developed in HK, and sang a lot of Cantonese songs but at Beijing's concert, primarily will be Mandarin songs."

Leon continuously devoted to charity activities connected to young people. Once, he donated a million dollars to fund a cause for young people. As one of the sponsors for the concert, the head of the news society organization presented Leon with "Compassionate Image Ambassador" honor certicate. Leon expressed that he will continue to put effort on charities. At the same time, he expressed that he hopes people will not give him flowers in Beijing anymore. "I really hope people don't give me flowers at events in Beijing. After a lively event, the flowers become useless and wasted. In addition, I am home in Beijing, so I'm not a guest. Don't have to treat me with guest manners. Don't give me flowers anymore." Regarding Beijing and his concert, Leon modestly said that he has not been able to contribute anything special to his hometown but has continuously to work hard.

During that year, a song Will You Come Home Tonight and a tv series Man on the Edge allowed numerous of people to be deeply captivated by Leon. It also enabled Leon to become one of 1990s most influential HK entertainers. Before this concert, Leon has just made his music an extremely thorough transformation. And the person responsible for Leon's change is the master Jonathan Lee. Leon expressed that he cooperated with Jonathan not long ago. In May of this year, after the Mandarin album A Story was released, it received good reviews.

According to Leon, he invited Joanathan at the beginning of the year to particpate in producing the new album. When meeting Jonathan in Beijing, Leon depended on some words to move him: "I felt it was time for me to make changes in music, so I looked for Jonathan and said that I want to change but how is up to him to decide. I hope my music can improve further by working with him to create the reborn of a Mandarin album. So, I let him do a research and find a image of me to newly create the album." After A Story was released, Leon was very confident of the changes in his music. He had expressed that he felt his current music improved greatly. "Whether this improvement is felt the same by people or not, it is not important. So as long as I have felt it, then it is possible."

On the evening of December 31st, Leon and Chyi Chin will hold separate concerts at the same time. Both of their concert promotions are also arranged at an identical time. The journalists asked if there's any effect on Chyi Chin's concert where the low price of RMB$680 for VIP as a selling point and what is his concert selling point. Leon replied the first question that there will not be any affect whatsoever. Beijing's market is extremely big and having more concerts at the same time will not be a problem, but too small of a location will affect the quantity of performances. He also expressed that he thinks when Chyi Chin sings Big Meeting in Winter on December 31st, the feeling should be very good.

Leon thinks he and Chyi Chin are both entertainers and can only choose a direction to develop oneself. As for whose concert like listening to, it's up to the audience to decide in the end. When facing the questions of prices and selling points, Leon chose 10 words to reply: "I am Leon Lai. He is Chiyi Chin. Thank you."

Hope that it's like what Leon said "Beijing can hold a lot of concerts" so allowing Leon and Chyi Chin to have successful concerts.

Currently, Leon's work is completely shifted to the December 31st Happy 2006 Beijing Concert at the Beijing Worker's Stadium. "I hope I can prepare this album that brought confidence and joy and bring them all to the Beijing concert to share them with fans."

The person in charge of the Worker's Stadium expressed, "Happy 2006 Leon Beijing Concert will be the last large-scale concert to be held at Worker's Stadium. After the concert, the stadium is one of the places for the Olympics, so it will start to completely transformed." Leon regards this as an important historical significance for the opportunity to perform and expressed that he will offer the audience a new and bright Leon (dawn).

When a journalist asked what's his feelings on Shu Qi winning the Golden Horse best actress award, an organizer immediately stated that questions about the concert are only answered. Leon actually replied, "It's ok. This has been asked many times. I will reply again. Four words "Sut Ji Ming Gwai".

Before, there were continuous rumors of Leon and Chou Bi Chang from Super Girls to cooperate on a film called McDull's Story. When a journalist asked Leon about it, he said it directly that there was no such thing. "That's a false news. Up until now, I don't know about this matter."

Besides dispelling the fake news, Leon explained about the rumor of him filming a movie called Music Story: "Music Story is using the songs on my new album to film a MV story. It's a small film used to promote the Mandarin album.

Leon acted in Andrew Lau produced and Alan Mak and Felix Chong directed new movie Moonlight in Tokyo. The movie's poster was shot earlier. Because Leon wanted to have a better effect and ignored the issue of the bird flu, he publicly asked for a live duck for the shooting of the poster; Unexpectedly, Media Asis boss Peter Lam ordered a ban on the use of live ducks. The reason is that the bird flu can't be use as a joke!

After the news asking for a duck was released, the movie company received several calls from residents who are willing to lend out the ducks. When Peter Lam learned of this, he immediately issued a ban forbidding any contacts between Leon and the ducks and said, "If anything happens to Leon, where am I going to find a son to repay Father Lai!" He wanted a crew member to find a convincing fake duck for the poster.

During the photoshoot, Leon didn't know there was no duck. When he saw the duck remaining still in front of the background, he asked, "Why is the duck standing still and being nice? Bring it some water!" After a closer look, he realized it was a fake duck. When he learned of the boss' meaning, he joked, "My father isn't as nervous as he is."

This time Leon plays a mentally handicapped person and speaks frankly that it was a challenge. He also hopes everybody not to discriminate against the mentally handicapped. He said, "Before filming, the director and I have visited many places and realized that they are no different from ordinary people. Their thinking is more direct. They don't have any problems and are happier than others. I also hope to be able to express this in the character."

Leon attended the light-up ceremony for Hong Kong's first indoor snow and ice hotel in APM shopping mall together with Chapman To, and the directors of Moonlight in Tokyo, Alan Mak and Felix Chong.

Assalamualaikum, semua!

Nak jemput kowang join kitaorg nonton citer MOONLIGHT IN TOKYO pd 7/1/2006 ni. Tapi tiket sendirian berhad lah, ye! Aktiviti ni just unofficial event utk para peminat Leon Lai kat Malaysia ni. Thus, kalo nak tolong memeriahkan lagi aktiviti ni, kehadiran kowang yg bukan-Leon's fan tu sememangnya teramatlah dialu2kan! Masa blom konfem lagi.. tapi dipercayai pd waktu siang gaks lah... nanti aku konfemkan balik, ek!

Bagi yg sememangnya peminat Leon Lai tu.... iskkk... tak patut la kalo kowang tak join aktiviti ni... ini lah peluang kowang nak berkenalan dgn aku... huarghahahahahahahahaha.....

Leon went to a radio interview for promotion of Moonlight in Tokyo. Leon's 39th birthday is coming. His birthday wish is for the Hong Kong movie industry to become better and singers could do better.
