Ramos tells Chelsea and Arsenal: Forget the title - United play better football than you
Tottenham manager Juande Ramos has tipped Manchester United to win the title because they play the best football in the country. Spurs did Sir Alex Ferguson's side a big favour last night by holding Chelsea to a 4-4 draw but Ramos feels United are already on a different level.
The former Sevilla coach has come up against all three title contenders since taking over at White Hart Lane and believes United will be too strong for Arsenal and Chelsea. He said: "It's very evenly balanced but the team I like most for the title is Manchester United. Obviously, they are three points ahead and playing the most attractive football. "It is a subjective opinion and not necessarily what I want to happen, but it's just what I see. Chelsea would have been closer to winning it if they'd beaten us last night." Ferguson, however, is sure Chelsea will still decide the destination of the title despite dropping two points at Spurs.
"I think it will go to the wire," he said. "I think Chelsea hold the key. They have Arsenal and ourselves at Stamford Bridge and their home record is very good." The last visitors to win at the Bridge were Arsenal, four seasons ago, and the Gunners travel to Chelsea this Sunday, with United at home to fourth-placed Liverpool. Arsenal now trail the champions by three points, with Chelsea a further two behind, but Joe Cole agreed with Ferguson that, with eight games still to play, anything can happen. Cole, who scored twice at Spurs in an outstanding display, said: "No one should be written off, it's anyone's title. In the next two months there will be lots of ups and downs and it will be great for the neutral to watch. "The team that wins it will be the one that focuses and concentrates the best. Arsenal and United have to come to us and they play each other as well. There are going to be lots of opportunities for us. "We have had a lot of adversity this season, but we could still come out with a major trophy or two. We'll keep going. It won't be hard for us to get up for Sunday. "In football there is always another game to either keep a good run going or redeem yourselves."
