berita yang menggemparkan.....

Hwang Su Jung pernah masuk ke dalam  lokap pada tahun 2001 kerana menyalahgunakan dadah (bersama suaminya yg tak guna itu) dia telah pun dibebaskan dan baru2 ini ada berita bhw dia nak pulang ke kaca tv dan merayu kpd orang ramai spy memaafkannya. mengikut sumber tertentu dia nak kembali berlakon kerana dia dan suaminya tak ada kerja tetap dan sangat miskin. peminatnya (sebelum kes itu terbongkar) enggan menerimanya krn dia pernah berjanji bhw dia tidak akan muncul di kaca tv lagi.

sebenarnya dae jang geum (JIL) perlu berterima kasih ngan hur jun. bila direktor lee sedang membuat kajian tentang hur jun, beliau terjumpa tulisan tentang wanita ajaib ini. org ramai sudah pun lupa akan kewujudan jang geum pada masa itu. jadi timbullah keinginannya  utk menghasilkan sebuah drama tentang jang geum.

tiada banyak rekod tentang jang geum sebenarnya. rekod yg ditemui itu hanya ada 50 perkataan sahaja.  kebanyakan cerita dlm drama jewel in the palace ialah cerita  rekaan penulis skrip dan direktor. mengikut rekod tersebut jang geum dihukum mati selepas kemangkatan maharaja (hasil sabotaj menteri2 yg jahat) direktor telah mengubah ceritanya utk jadikannya lebih menarik.

First published in 1613, this medical compilation is considered one of the classics in Oriental medicine in China and Japan as well as Korea. The work is composed of five parts: the internal organs; the external organs; miscellany; drugs; and acupuncture and moxibustion. The contents were taken from the Chinese classics but were extensively modified to meet the needs of the Korean people. The title Dongui bogam, literally "Mirror of Eastern Medicine," reflects the author's desire to distinguish Korean medicine from that of the West or China.

1. Lee Je Ma

Lee Je Ma was the founder of Sasang Constitutional Medicine which is a specialty of traditional Korean Medicine. His Sasang Constitutional Medicine classifies people into four types ; Tae Yang, Tae Eum, So Yang, So Eum. The catagorization is based on the comprehensive understanding of each person's physique, physical constitution, the strong and the weak of organs, facial appearance, personality, reactionary condition to medicine, clinical specialty, etc. He asserted that medical treatment must be performed according to one's constitution to be efficacious. He integrated the whole contents of Sasang Constitutional Medicine in his book, Dong Ui Su Se Bo Won. He is said to have formulated the clinical system to contribute for the development of our traditional Korean Medicine by his originative theory although it is schematized to an undue extent in a sense.


2. Heo Jun

Heo Jun was a court physician during King Seonjo's reign. He compiled Dong Ui Bo Gam, which became the foundation of traditional Korean Medicine. He became famous as a noted physician in his twenties and worked as a royal physician for a long time. He wrote Eon Hae Goo Geup Bang, Eon Hae Doo Chang Jip Yo, and Eon Hae Tae San Yo Rak to contribute for elimination of epidemics and first aid treatments. In 1592 when the Japanese Invasion of Korea occurred, he took the field as a doctor at the risk of his life. Dong Ui Bo Gam, which took him 15 years to complete from 1596 in 1610, is one of the best medical classics. In Dong Ui Bo Gam, he put a great emphasis upon the unique tradition of Korean Medicine, saying "Our country is located in the east and our medical tradition is succeeding without cease like a rope, explaining that our Medicine can be named as the Oriental Medicine." In his book, he accompanied almost all the therapies with our own herb remedies. He also wrote the names of herbs in Korean so that the commoners could learn them easily. He gave critical consideration to the existing medical theories and clinical experience. He had an opinion that in order to preserve one's health, training one's mind and body comes first, herbs, moxibustion, and acupuncture come secondly. Heo Jun is said to have enhanced Korean Medicine of those days to a higher level and contributed to the development of the Korean Medicine in Chosun.

3. Yu Yi Tae

Yu Yi Tae was a royal physician during King Sukjong's reign. He compiled Ma Jin Pyun, which is composed of remedies for the measles. In King Sukjong's reign, so many people died of measles and smallpox that Yu Yi Tae wrote Ma Jin Pyun based on Ma Jin Gyeong Heom Bang. He gave up his government position and concentrated his energies upon the patients at his hometown. For his superhuman skill of medical cure, people likened Yu Yi Tae to Pyeon Jak, a noted Chinese doctor.

4. Lee Kyu Jun

Lee Kyu Jun was a doctor of the latter period of Chosun. He released Eui Gam Jung Ma and focused his attention on Medicine in his last few years. He cast by the theory of replenishing Eum and hauling down the fiery energy, which Ju Jin Hyeong, a Yuan(the Chinese dynasty in the 14th century) doctor, asserted. Instead, he proposed the theory of 'promoting Yang', making habitual use of warm-natured herbs such as ginseng, Bu Ja(Aconiti tuber), etc.
