Dalam kes mas letak la ceo siapa pun tetap akan rugi jikalau kontrak menten yg asal dan pekerja te ...
aku tgk mana2 kompeni/GLC, if CEO bertukar orang, diorang akan bawak masuk team sendiri dr luar
sbb selesa keje dgn team sendiri
and opkozzz la team members ni akan letak jugak org2 dia sbg subordinates sbb dah SELESA keje and tahu prestasi masing2
tp dlm kes MAS ni, yg aku tgk, hanya CEO je bertukar ganti
staf2 mcm tuuuuuuuuuuu jugak sbb ada union
so, kalo mas letaklah ceo yg grad dr harvard business school skalipun, tp dah kalo staff tu mcm tuuuuuuuuuuuu gak, mmg smpi akhirat la rugi memanjang
ekceli dlm mana2 kompeni pun, union ni menyusahkan
kat opis aku ni, skang bos dah ada kuasa utk buat decision takmo amik staff under union
sbb nanti menyusahkan diorang je
so bos2 ni hanya amik ekzekutip and managerial level jah
keje2 clerical tu, apa lah sgt.....sume org bleh buat
not only my opis, kompeni2 lain pun tgh try cuba hapuskan union or freeze staf2 under union

Government should not bail out MAS – Lok Wing Kong
May 18, 2014
I am extremely happy to note that the acting Transport Minister Hishumuddin has told MAS to stand on its own feet and the Government will not bail it out of financial problems.
This should have been the way to treat MAS and all other GLCs. Huge sums of taxpayers’ money have been dished out for years to financially support MAS to keep MAS flying.
It is time to put a stop to it.
It is not the money of the persons who are appointed to run MAS. They, therefore, never bother one bit.
Since the money belonged to the taxpayers, even the BN/Umno government was not bothered by it.
All CEOs of the GLCs must be Malay Muslims, though some of them are of mediocre calibre and even though there are capable non-Muslims out there.
Thanks to this policy the Malays Muslims have had opportunities to helm huge corporations and thereby they gained valuable training.
The country has paid the price incurring huge hemorrhage year after year since independence.
There are umpteen cases of GLC failures and the government just continues to dish out big chunks of financial aid, ensuring they are afloat.
It must be the ego at play. In this manner Malaysia may soon become the Greece of the east.
Non-Malays are marginalized in Malaysia.
The US President is not blind and he therefore hit the head of the nail by pointing out that the country will not succeed and prosper if the non-Malay minorities are not given the same opportunities.
It is sad that this has been condemned as untrue, as evident in many BN/mno and right-wing Malay NGOs protesting against the US president Barack Obama.
There are many policies initiated by BN/Umno such as the New Economic Policy (NEP), New Economic Model (NEM) and Bumiputra Economic Empowerment Agenda (BEEA), just to name a few, which are purportedly affirmative action for uplifting the Malays, but only BN/Umno cronies and a very few having good connections benefitted.
This group of Malays monopolizes all sorts of benefits generation after generation, leaving a majority of Malays neglected and who remain as poor as when NEP was implemented in 1970.
The Achilles heel of the country is that the BN/Umno insists on continuing mediocrity in practically all fields of human endeavour.
All teaching academics from primary to tertiary are of mediocre standard. It is natural only mediocre graduates are produced. There are some 60,000 graduates who are unemployed due to poor employability.
Therefore there are hardly any talented people to helm the government and GLCs.
One wonders why Malay Muslims are still not capable of picking up the nitty-gritty of trade after half a century.
The non-Malays, especially the Chinese Malaysians, have been blamed for their failures. This is unfair.
According to ex-PM Tun Dr.Mahathir, the Europeans, especially the British, frequently said: “Malays are lazy, uncompetitive and not trustworthy.”
The phenomenon has proven why Malays are mired badly behind in the country in many fields, though there have been spoon-feeding policies in place for more than 50 years.
If the government were to give in to the MAS union's demand that the government is obliged to keep bailing it out as it is a GLC, then MAS will not be able to face the fierce competition of the aviation industry.
Soon after being bailed out it will be begging the government for help again. Hence, this is not the option as they will never learn.
Let MAS faces the music of creative destruction. It should be killed first and then rebuilt from scratch.
In the process all dead wood in the management and union should be thrown out.
It does not bode well to rescue it with borrowed money as Malaysia is already surviving on borrowed money.
As of now the Federal debt is more than RM800 billion, some 56% of GDP.
As a citizen I would not like to see Malaysia to become the Greece of the east. – May 18, 2014.
