Korean Actress Lee Min Jung To Return To Work After Wedding, Offered A Role In Medical DramaKorea's Power Couple will have a short honeymoon before returning to work.

Lee Min Jung was wrapping up the political comedy "All About My Romance" when she and actor Lee Byung Hun decided to get married and started plannign their wedding.
Korea's Power Couple will marry on August 10 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul. More than a thousand guests will attend the wedding. Plenty of celebrities have been invited since between them Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung probably know everyone who is anyone in the kdrama and kmovie world.
But the honeymoon will be short as both Lee Min Jung and her new husband have plans to return to work.
Lee Byung Hun only recently returned from filming and promoting the Hollywood blockbuster "Red 2" with co-stars Bruce Willis and Helen Mirren. Shortly after the wedding, he will begin work on the Korean historical martial arts film "Memories of the Sword" with co-stars Jeon Do Yeon and Kim Go Eun.
Lee Min Jung has been offered a role of Seo Joo Yeong, a doctor in the upcoming MBC medical drama "Medical Top Team." The drama is about a team of doctors who are the best at their respective specialties. While they attempt to find the most effective treatments for their patients, love conflicts and hospital power struggles complicate their plans.
Lee Min Jung's leading man in "Medical Top Team" will be actor Kwon Sang Woo, who played a man out for revenge in the recent drama "Queen of Ambition." He is an award-winning actor who was recognized for his work in the series "Daemul." In the new medical drama he will play a warm but somewhat blunt cancer specialist.
One of the reasons that Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung broke up early in their dating relationship had to do with his crowded schedule. He was a big star and she was a rookie actress. Despite the fact that her last two dramas, "All About My Romance" and "Big" were not huge hits, she has become a star in her own right and now has a busy acting schedule of her own to contend with. Despite their early concerns about managing two careers and a love life, the couple now feels confident enough to take on the challenge.
Kim Do Hoon, who directed the popular drama "The Moon Embraces The Sun," is directing the medical drama. Koon Kyeong Ah, who wrote the drama "Brain," is the writer.
The show will premiere in October, following the drama "Two Weeks" with Lee Jun Ki.

Joo Ji-hoon is starring in the new MBC drama "Medical Top Team".
This will be his first medical drama.
Joo Ji-hoon takes on the role of Han Seung-jae, the best physician who is as sharp as a knife and aims for the directorial position of his own hospital.
The current members of the cast are kwon Sang-woo in the role of Park Tae-sin, Choi Ah-jin and Oh Yeon-seo.
Joo Ji-hoon has been on a break since 2009 after confessing the smoking of marijuana and returned with the movie "I Am a King" last year as well as the SBS drama "Five Fingers". "Medical Top Team" is his first MBC drama comeback since the 2006 drama, "Princess Hours".
"Medical Top Team" is a story about doctors. It is written by Yoon Kyeong-ah from "Brain" and produced by Kim Do-hoon from "The Sun and the Moon". |

Actress Oh Yeon-seo has been cast for the new MBC drama, "Medical Top Team".
Oh Yeon-seo takes on the role of one of the youngest doctors in the cardiothoracic department.
She claims, "I am happy to work with good people although I am nervous about it being my first doctor role".
"Medical Top Team" is about the competition, conflict and friendship of a medical dream team.
