Cons
1. Parts are a bit expensive. Some of the items are custom for the car,like the sparkplugs. One type and one type only(cannot remember the part code).
2. The front suspensions are a bit sensitive. Changing to aftermarket springs seems to have sorted it out but not before a lower arm failed on me. Managed to claim a set(left and right) before the warranty ran out.
3. FC is a bit on the heavy side. RM60 gets about 260kms.
4. Engine is affected quite badly by heat. It might be because my Aveo is black but it feels like dragging a bull up a tree on hotter days. Have installed a secondary fan and seems to have somewhat solved the problem. It seems that the single fan setup that comes with the car is not enough to cope with our weather.

Hi i own a Aveo 5 (1.5) 2006.I am frustated with the fuel consumption.The fuel Tank which is around RM90 onli can give me 290km. Is that normal? I heard about gas tank,what is that/? i am planning to sell my car soon,is that any help there so i still can keep my baby.

RM90 only claimed 290 km or equivalent to 6.3 km/l , your FC is damn high . Even higher than my parent's 2.6 E-Class in city driving with moderate jam . My 1.8 Optra is giving me 8-9km/l in city driving and while in highway driving with avg speed 120-130km/h , I'm getting 13-14km/l . |

Cons keta ni....
1) Petrol guzzlar...mentekedarah minyak..
2) spare part mahai...susah nak dapat...
3) pomen pun tak berapa ramai yg terer repair kchevy nih..
4) rega drop gila babas...
Pro keta ni...
cuma sedap bawak sbb berat...tu jer la.. |
