The book has been made into a Lifetime Network movie of the week which premiered June 28, 2008 at 9pm Eastern, and starring Kelly Preston and Ron Eldard, from Sony Pictures Television.

but the movie (tv) is quite disappointing from the reviews that I've read.

not that i know of.
my sister's keeper gonna be made into a film and tenth circle aired on tv.
i'm so looking forward for my sister's keeper's movie.

nineteen minutes is a good book too is it? jodi picoult is such a talented writer. i wish i can write half as good as her. she is definitely on my list of favorite writers.

i've read reviews somewhere, nineteen minutes is the best book ever written by her...
seriously, you'll never really knows what happen until almost the end
the best part is, jodi picoult explored the killer's mind, instead of the other way round
so engaging & disturbing too...

tak penah baca buku dia...but somebody told me about the film "PS I love you"

beli DVD and tgk....memang best giler....yaneng menangis throughout the film....byk betul scene2 yg menyayat hati....

but....tak nak beli bukunya...sebab...nanti....sakit hati...sebab mesti tak sama....

sekrg dah fall in love ngan gerard butler...hehehhe....

her writing style is very easy to follow which makes it very readable...
only gripe is that the ending is always too sudden...

as if she has a quota on the number of pages. and needs to summarise the ending in one poing five pages.
the flow is usually abruptly curt.
has happened on more then a few of her books that i read.

i seriously wonder why.

wah banyak buku dia awak dah baca eh.

i love the way she writes. very expressive and make me understand the character inside and out. last picoult's book i read was nineteen minutes. which was brilliant. will keep reading more of her books and shes one of my favourite authors.

i agree with sam jones
at certain times, the ending was too abrupt
i think maybe she wanted to put the surprise element there, which caused the ending to be like that
example would be tenth circle
never expected the *** did the crime

just finished my 1st jodi picoult - the pact. not bad. i think i'm slowly hooked.

Br lepas abis bacer buku my sister's keeper.. Dah msk list fav citer ni..x sangka ending dier camtu... Tp overall citer ni best...

i have just finished reading nineteen minutes
i tot wanna do a review on the book.. yang grand punya

buku ni mmg best, pasal high school shooting
this is the book that i have to read like twice or thrice..
aku kena baca satu bab tu berkali-kali, i am besotted with it
bukan sebab tak faham, tapi sebab terasa sungguh real

it's not always writer writes about a high school killing spree
and reminded us that the killer is somebody's son, and is dearly loved by his parents
we always see the other side (from the media), and assume that when the kid do worse, we should blame the parents

oh, and i so connect with the characters, like josie
we always wonder why parents did not know us at all during our teenage years

the writer capture vividly the daily concern of a teenager
and i can understand the pain they must be feeling as parents, and the anger the teenager feels

a tad slow.. but worth it
