Beautiful dreamer, wake unto me,
Starlight and dewdrops are waiting for thee;
Sounds of the rude world heard in the day,
Lull'd by the moonlight have all pass'd a way!

Beautiful dreamer, queen of my song,
List while I woo thee with soft melody;
Gone are the cares of life's busy throng, --
Beautiful dreamer, awake unto me!

Beautiful dreamer, out on the sea
Mermaids are chaunting the wild lorelie;
Over the streamlet vapors are borne,
Waiting to fade at the bright coming morn.

Beautiful dreamer, beam on my heart,
E'en as the morn on the streamlet and sea;
Then will all clouds of sorrow depart, --
Beautiful dreamer, awake unto me!  

WHAT I FEEL

So much time and pain,
Confused thoughts and emotions
Show me how to live?
Show me how to love?
I know I want more,
When I look into your eyes.

It's the way you make me feel.
It's like I'm in a dream!
It's the only thing that feels real.

Thinking of you every day,
I hope by chance I'll see your face,
See your smile.

From the moment I looked into your eyes,
I knew I would never be the same.
You stay with me,
In my heart and in my mind.
I hope to never let it end!

MY LOVE  

The words you whisper to me,
are so soft and so dear.
The sound of your voice,
is like the sweet thoughts in my ear.

Your scent melts your body,
like ice on a hot day.
Your touch send chills down my body,
like the first time I met you.

You are everything to me,
my life; my destiny,
and most of all,
you complete me...

WIND ON THE HILL

No one can tell me,
Nobody knows,
Where the wind comes from,
Where the wind goes.

It's flying from somewhere
As fast as it can,
I couldn't keep up with it,
Not if i ran.

But if i stop holding
The string of my kite,
It would blow with the wind
For a day and a night.

And then when I found it,
Wherever it blew,
I should know that the wind
Had been going there too.

So then I could tell them
Where the wind goes...
But where the wind comes from
Nobody knows.

MY KITE  

Like the kite,
flying in a clear blue sky.
Hoping one day you will realised,
i've already accepted the kite,
Give me some more time,
to hold it tight.

Thanks for the kite,
it's really nice kite,
Hope that it will fly,
as high as my kite.

A GOOD LOOK INSIDE

As you wander lonely night and day
there is something that i must say
Let your eyes look deep beneath the skin
And see that precious person that lives within
This is one simple way to start
to judge a person from your heart
For we are not all just what you see
There is something special in you and me
Those special things our looks conceal
For we may not look the way we feel
To look inside for just a while
And on your face will come a smile
Now if that smile does not end
At least you know you found a friend
Now if your friend is special let him know
And that will make your friendship grow

I DANCE ALONE

I dance alone with the night,
the moon holding me close,
beneath the starlight.

My feet moving slow to every
sad song I know, playing over
and over, as alone I go.

The night embraces me and
the winds whisper sad
words to me.

I dance with the tears that fall
from my eyes, they help
me make it through the
lonely nights.

Sighs, I hear in the distance,
as I dance within darkness,
shadows move slowly, as
I miss your tender kiss.

One step, spinning around, breezes
capture my heart, as to the long
night I am bound.

Broken memories spilling on
the ground, as this heartache,
twirls me around.

Wrapped in the arms of the night,
this dance must go on, as without
you again, I dance alone.

HAPPINESS

Happiness is like a butterfly
Fluttering through
The breeze of life
Wanting to be caught

Happiness is like an angel
Soaring the skies
Blinding some with pain
But to most appears as joy

Happiness is like a tree
It grows old
But much goodness
Many creatures sheltering inside

Happiness is like a flower
Opening and budding
In the midst of sorrowful weeds
It is least expected

Happiness is something more
Than the flow of words
It can be a sense
Of love, of joy, of achievement

YOU ARE

You are the poetry
To my blank page
From out of the pen
My love flows on

You are the song
That bursts out
Sweet and soft
It springs tears to all

You are the flower
Delicately laid from God
Waiting in a meadow
For a admirer to pick up

You are the sunset
Meeting with my sea
Blushing your rosy cheeks
Around you in the sky

You are the sweet
Near a deprived mouth
Longing to place you inside me
Savouring you within

You are the harmony
With my beat of passion
Burning within my love
We stand there together

You are the breeze
On my cool summer抯 day
Without you it is too warm
Needing you to blow life there

You are the muse
Of my aspiring artist
Gazing at you in wonder
I keep on drawing

You are the words
In which I always write
No language can describe
The warmth of your presence

You are the life
Onto my wandering existence
With another smile
Adding hope to my spirit

You are the butterfly
Flying to my withered flower
I have no nectar
But you come to me still

You are the key
Locking onto my heart
The correct being, correct shape
It is the only one that fits

You are the soul
For my untamed mind
It has no life without you
Because you belong to God

You are my everything...

WHY

Why do the eyes fill
With the sorrow
That my heart hides
Bowing down my head

Why does the heart grieve
With the love
That never was given
But was always mine

Why does the blood flow
With the pain
Of having no strength
To live one breath without you

Why does the mind live
With the sound
Of you singing
Each note a soothing lullaby

Why do the ears listen
For the one that I know
My heart remembers
Weeping in memory

Why does the breath shorten
As I feel you here
Holding me safe in your arms
Never letting me go

Why does the gaze search
Only for you to be in sight
Sighing and lonely
I need you to be here for me

Why does the smile stop
My happiness is with you
You took away my heart
My smile went into your eyes

Why does the reality split
Setting us far apart
I have no existence, no life
Without one thought of you

Why does the moment kill
Only me, only me
You抮e not here for me
I miss you every heartbeat

Why does the paint still
In a artist抯 palette
Where my feelings are lost
In the midst of my work

Why do the words cease
To pour onto my page
I cannot describe you
There are no like terms

Why does the music quieten
When you are gone
My heartbeat makes no sound
You took it from me

Why does the silence murder
Leaving no room for joy
Only my tears fill my face
The time doesn抰 pass without you

Why does the time slow
Even an hour sans you
Is without life
You bring me my soul

Why does heaven halt
I see no goodness now
For all that is good is you
But you have left me

Why do the dreams depart
Away from me
Giving me no rest, no peace
My sanity caves in

Why does the sky darken
Into the black clouds inside
Reflecting my distress
Ugliness reigns everywhere

Why do the flowers close
When it is spring time
Another winter has taken place
In my heart for all eternity

Why?

WHAT REALLY MATTERS  

What really matters?
Getting a bad grade for listening
Instead of talking
Or a good speech
Without caring of other opinions

What really matters?
Seeing something that isn't there
But searching for something within
Or Looking out for other people
And not seeing yourself

What really matters?
A longing to be loved
And not returning the love
Or giving love
And not receiving in any return

What really matters?
A desire expected to be given
Or filling in someone else's desire
To pur a smile on their torn faces
Not caring about your own

What really matters?
Being friends by name
Yet spreading rumours concerning them
Or helping people
That are not your own

What really matters?
A sense of longing to belong
to those around us
Or helping others to fit in
While alienating yourself

What really matters?
Dying for what you think is right
But to other seems wrong
Fighting for injustice
When the liberation needs to come from within

What really matters?
Showing others the finish line to a race
While tripping yourself
Or running clear of others
But finishing the contest with no reward

What really matters?
Assisting people out of sadness
Into the beauty of friendship
Aiding those who need companions
Yet losing yourself in the path of loneliness

WHAT HAPPENED TO ME   

Time is lost when I抦 talking to you
Feeling so faithless, lost in your eyes
Life has lost its essence without you
Cut into my surface, deep within me

Space is gone while I抦 watching me
I抳e become so numb to others
Scarred deep within my soul
Where none but you can penetrate

Distance pains as it gets bigger
I need you to be by my side
Until my body perishes away
Because I抣l always stay with you

Speed has slowed down ever since
You entered the doors of my heart
Carved with a blade so sharp
The wound can never be healed

Logic has lost all her reason
Because you抮e the one thing
I抎 gladly die in war for
Knowing I抣l be always in you

VISITING YOU  

Silent
When the mists is calling
Your name, your name
Which i ponder often
In my mind
Filled only with you

Silent
While the bird of the air
Sing about the rose
Of your blooming cheeks
Matching the depth
Of those musk brown eyes

Silent
As the first tears of love
Fall and surrender
Its pain comforted
When I grasp you
Deep into my embrace

Silent
While the sweet sounds
Of your voice carry far
Into the deserted distance
Where I wait for you
To run to me your hair waving

Silent
Though the streams
Of flowing water brush past
I feel your oneness with me
Though we are apart
You blush at thoughts of me

Silent
Through the warmth
Of the blazing sun
Cooled by the breeze
Which when I hear
Seems filled by your name

Silent
When placing those roses
Onto your home
I colour as I see you
Smiling down at me
An angel in heaven

TSUNAMI   

Mothers have lost their children
To a disaster that could not be prevented
Yet they suffer
Day in, Day out

Children, Parents, Families
Have gone to the missing
Lost to all those who know them
Being mourned, yet hoping for return

Water rolling up
No wonder people were scared
For their lives, for their beloved
Ruined for earthquake

Show me their sin
For others accuse them
Of paying for their evil
What did the children do?

Their thoughts
Rushing through their minds
Am I going to die?
What wrong did they do?

When nature makes its course
No human stands in its path
Trees uprooted
Water rushing everywhere

Helplessly they stand
Praying to God for mercy
On their land, their lives
Hoping against all odds

There will be mourning
There will be pain
There will be sorrow
Until the dawn has risen for all

Why did this happen?
Nature calls, the earth answers
No God caused this massacre
For life itself was the cause

THIS BRIGHT SUMMERS' DAY  

This bright summer抯 day
As the 憂oon sun beams down
All the warm sunshine upon us
While sweet bird voices fill the skies

This bright summer抯 day
During the calming sway
Of the evergreen plants
Reminds me of you always

This bright summer抯 day
With the breeze oh so slight
Brushing past me so rapidly
Making me breathless of you

Now I need you in my arms
To breathe you in, sparing nothing
Your scent identical only to roses

A best friend that really cares!
she knows all my secrets that I can share
she know when I need a helping hand.
she is the only one that really understand

When I need to cry
she will be by my side

If I am away!
She will call me day by day!

If I need her at all!
She'll be there to stand tall!

Anything I say will be heard!
She will listen word by word!

She is the one that cares!
And the one that抯 there!

Love In The Home

If I live in a house of spotless beauty
With everything in it's place'
But I have not love.............
I am a housekeeper, not a home maker.

If I have time for waxing, polishing
and decorative achievements,
but not have love..............
my children learn cleanliness, not godliness.

Love leaves the dust in search of a child's laugh.
Love smiles at the tiny fingerprints on a newly cleaned window.
Love wipes away the tears before it picks up the toys.
Love is present through the trials.
Love reprimands, reproves and is responsive.
Love crawls with the baby, walks with the toddler, runs with the child, then stands
aside to let the youth walk into adulthood.
Love is the key that opens salvation's message to a child's heart.

Before I became a mother, I took glory in my house of perfection.
Now I glory in God's perfection of my child.

As a mother, there is much I must teach my child,
but the greatest of all is LOVE
