of course, good practise is to read at least 5 verses after prayer, but we dont obliged to memorise hadith.... |

That doesn't sound like a good practice cos it will be disjointed. I suggest you read the quran by the surah and try to summarise the main points of each surah after you have read them. Then list questions about what you read and then read it again and try look for answers. Quarn is difficult to understand cos it is haphazardly written, it does not lay a background and jumps in between issues erratically. So much so that muslim usually do not read the Quran themselves but depend on others to 'interpret' for them. |

I do it for any book i need to study, including the Quran.
The Quran is difficult for many to undersatnd because they do not have Bible knowledege. Thats why many ended up not reading it altogether. |
