Bangkok memeang best, sesapa nak pergi , baik la pergi lama sikit, nanti tak puas jln.
kat sana ok, tak rasa pun terancaem , u nak jln sendiri2 pun ok, rasa selamat.
makan susah sikit , payah nak dapat yg halal. i masa kat sana kawan suma cina, i ngn my friend ni tawakal je, pergi mkn kat kedai kaki lima, seafood noodles. (mee goreng) 1 hari tak makan, mana nak tahan makn roti je.. kita org pun bedal la, dah dia lulis no pork serve ok kot.tapi memang sedap.
transport- jaga2 sure kena tipu, especially bila naik tut tut.
jgn ketingalan chat tu chak, satu hari pun tak cukup, bawak duit byk sikit.. segala benda ada kat sana, tapi jgn terus beli tau, ada temapt lain yg lagi murah.... u boleh compare price. |

Destitutes in Bangkok.
Amidst the boom in economy and new, larger shopping complexes (Siam Paragon): grander and more beautiful than any of Singapore's, those who find it hard to feed themselves every day...

No certificate for new Bangkok airport
BANGKOK
28-Jan-07
BANGKOK'S spanking new US$3.8-billion airport has failed to receive an Aerodrome Certificate from local civil aviation authorities, placing it in a "no man's land" in terms of safety standards, media reports said Saturday.
Civil Aviation Department officials on Friday refused to extend an "interim" Aerodrome Certificate _ a document initiated by the United Nations International Civil Aviation Organization to prove that airports meet international safety standards _ that was granted the Suvarnabhumi Airport upon its opening last September 28.
Although airports can operate without the certificates, international airlines have warned Thai aviation authorities that Suvarnabhumi Airport has now entered a safety certificate "no man's land," The Nation newspaper wrote.
The Civil Aviation Department refused to renew the interim certificate it granted the airport four months ago due to a host of infrastructural and management problems still plaguing the new facility.
For instance, Suvarnabhumi's eastern runway was reportedly closed for repairs on Saturday morning between 2 and 6am (3 and 7 am in Brunei), to fix a crack at the head of the 4,000m-long strip.
Incoming flights were diverted to the western runway.
Thailand's Transport Minister Thira Haocharoen admitted that cracks had been found on 25 of the airport's taxiways and on one runway, forcing the closure of 11 of the 50 aero-bridges. Flights were diverted to nearby U-Tapao Airbase.
Construction of the Suvarnabhumi Airport, built on a former swamp in eastern Bangkok, was hastened by former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who was ousted by a military coup on September 19 on charges of corruption and causing disunity in the kingdom. |
