Actually it depends on what kind of song u're singing. But normally with R&B song, diction will be a bit different than the standard pop English song.

What... the letter "t" must be clear and crisp enough for the listeners to listen to. Don't pronounce it as Whad or wod... it's sometimes OK to pronounce as Whad.. but not all the time.

Boo... mm.. hard to say, but don't be too straight-forward like "ibu". Some breath control is needed to get that crispier and clearer and more accurate sound of "boo".

The... in standard sentence.. should pronounce "the" clearly with your tongue gripped close at your teeth, while blowing some smelly breath of yours in between them. Don't be too lazy to pronounce it as "der" or "ter". This is the most common diction problem among Malays.

"Stunna" in "stunner" is not diction thingy.. but slang thingy. In R&B song, u can't sing like Latino singing English song. You should pronounce it like nigger. The more nigger, the better. Hehe. For beginner, try not to stress "R" for word like "stunner", "figure".. it sounds too "white" or "snowy" gituh.

When u have improved your diction, u can crawl slowly singing with slang.. then, u can try singing with accent.. then, for experts, u can try singing with attitude, babeh. Play with your tongue, tips of your lips, nasal vocal, smelly breath...

aku tau ada masalah diction, so motif aku nyanyi lagu english adalah untuk improve the diction...slang plak aku tak pandai, so aku just guna slang biasa

tp ade org kata alto belum sampai tahap soprano.. tp ramai kata dah tahap soprano

Sound card problem kot. Aku sblm tukar sound card pun selalu pecah bila tarik suara tinggi2. Better ko tukar yg bagus sikit... at least pakai Audigy Value punya sound card. Aku beli arituh pun pasal taknak bagi suara aku pecah. Murah jer.. rasanya kalau kat Low Yat tu tak sampai pun RM100 kot. Sbb a bit annoying lah kalau nak tarik suara speaker tu macam nak pecah jer.

Aku beli yg Audigy Value jer. Kalau ko nak power sikit, pakai Audigy Blast macam2 tu. Main game pun sodap pakai sound card power2 camtu. Tapi aku pakai yg biasa2 jer.. cuma elok sikit dari default sound card kat PC aku nie. Asalkan suara tak pecah bila nyanyi part tinggi.

Erk.. aku tak reti istilah2 vokal nie. Yg pasti, suara aku kalau key yg rendah tu mmg takleh nak harap lah. I don't have that typical male voice. Jadi kalau bawak lagu Josh Groban tu mmg hancus lah.

oh aku rasa ko  tenor, alto hingga ke mezzo kot.  sbb kalau colatura maknanya ko leh nyanyi lagu Mariah Carey semua lagu dia tanpa turun key, atau ada stau lagu nih,

tp yg kagumnnya dgn muntz neh, dia hit that pitch guna modal voice. mmg sungguh kagum!. aku malangnya, dgn pakai modal voice hanya leh  reach level tenor . bila alto,  sampai ke soprano(mezzo) aku kena switch falsetto. sbb tu dalam opera falsetto dgn headtone sama jek. coloratura mmg aku tak sampai, terus dia jump ke whistling . baritone dan bass mmg aku boleh dgn modal voice.


si iss tu pakai modal voice ke atau falsetto tuk nyanyi lagu pompuan tu muntz?

oja confirm mezzo kot.  pompuan ni susah sikit..  si narco tu confirm contralto  (ishhh yek yeh je aku neh    )


to yg confirm, lelaki pun boleh ade suara mcm oja . sbb tu ada yg takmo bagikan kategori lelaki dan pompuan, but sbb gender tetap gender so, begitulah adanya.
