Korean artistes arriving in Hong Kong for the Dragon Boat Festival, expecting to attracting 8000 tourists.
The Hong Kong Dragon Boat Association and the Hong Kong Tourism Board have come together to organise the 'Hong Kong Dragon Boat Carnival' which will be held from the 23rd to 25th of Julyat East Tsim Sha Tsui, with a total of 191 local and foreign competingteams, including a team consisting of popular artistes from Korea, suchas Super Junior, 2PM and U-Kiss.
The tourism board expressed that this time round, they receivedHKD15,000,000 of sponsorships and they estimated that the 3-day eventwill attract up to 50,000 spectators, including 8000 tourists. Thecompetition is of a larger scale this time, with a total of 12countries and 191 teams in the competition, which is almost double oflast year. There will also be more creative activities, including abathtub race, a race organised for breast cancer survivors - 'Pinkinvitational dragon boat race' and a 'Big dragon boat race' where eachteam has 50 or more members etc.
However, the most attractive would be the invitational race consistingof teams from various international broadcasting stations. One of theparticipants would be from Korea's KBS Dream Team. For now,participating members include 2PM's Junho, U-Kiss' Alexander and other Super Junior members.

Super Junior's Si-Won will sing in English for his upcoming solo
Super Junior member Si-Won released good news for the English speaking fans, also currently busy filming the drama “Athena: Goddess of War”, he posted a message on his personal twitter account on the 6th July, that he will be working with his friend to remix his English song that Si-Won will be singing on the 3rdWaveMusic album. He emphasized on the fact “It’s the only K-POP English album. Wow!!”
The English K-pop fans definitely have something to look forward to, especially the Elfs as it will be the first time the member will release a solo track. In the past, he had song in the OST for his drama Oh My Lady and after the fans found out that the track was sung by him it gained a lot of positive feedback.
