that is what I've been trying to ask them.
Like Allahyarham Ahmad Deedat says :
"You (The Christians who believed that "God can do EVERYTHING" without thinking about it) are giving a stick for the agnostic to beat you with".
The questions that brother airfilterkotor quoted is an aged old question, I think it's dated back to the time when the Pagan Rome is around. (Those who worship Zeus.. Rome, kan? Forgot oledi ).
Can God throw us out of His Dominion?
Can God create a rock so big and so huge that even He can't lift it up?
Can God lie?
Can God create an Uncreated?
And lastly one of my agnostic friend asked me about this "God can do everything" concept..
He asked me :
"Bro, if Allah can do everything, can Allah put Himself in need of oxygen and then ran out of it and die of asphyxiation?"
and lastly, if God can TRULY do EVERYTHING (hence the trinity concept)... then why didn't God just forgives the so-called "sin" (whatever sin you are referring to)?
He can do EVERYTHING, right? Forgiveness to His Creation without asking for a penance is included in the definition of "EVERYTHING" , right?

God can do it... but He has chosen what is the best to accomplish His mission. |

so you are saying that God can actually create something and lost control of it, mawarputeh?
that would actually deemed this "God" as powerless... |

He can but He doesn't want as it brings no benefits.... He is not here to entertain you that He can do this and that... just to make you believe... You are just like the Jews... asking God for more... |

The one who make god can do this and that are christians, not muslim.
Doesnt mean that if Jesus can do many miracles so he can be a god.
We muslim didnt do that and didnt believe in that theory.
Muslim like a jews..asking for more..?
Asking for what...?
Muslim didnt associates GOD with His creations.
Jews didnt associates GOD with His creations. |

Associate god with his creations....example:
Hindu worship cow as their god. They also have a lotsssss of god in human form.
Familiar...?
Now, do you worship Jesus as a god or human...? |

At least the cow is living, you bow down to an object? |

So, for you is it ok to bow to a living thing like a cow (for example) hah..?
Sorry, Kaabah is a kiblat(direction). We muslim didnt worship Kaabah.
Its only a direction.
This have been explained before.
Hindus worship god in human and animal form.
Debmey, do you worship Jesus as a god or human...? |
|
|
|
|
|

in effect yu do bow to an object whether yu like it or not.
not only that, yu put pics of it on your walls, you pay pigrimmage to it and walk circles around it and even kiss it. You are worshipping an object sir.

"In the name of The Father The Son and The Holy Ghost"
In hierarchy, The Father is the most highest.
Take a look at this one:
"God, Prophet and angel Gabriel"
You put The Father infront of anything else.
If you said these three name bare the same divine(level), why dont you put it like this:
"In the name of The Son and The Holy Ghost and The Father"
...or
"In the name of The Holy Ghost The Fahter and The Son"
Both can fit with your concept of god's name, there're all in same level.
So, the questions is "Why Jesus, but not the others..?"
Any idea...? |

Aaa.....back to my Q please.
Q: Why Jesus, but not The Father or Holy Spirit..?
Why christians preferred the name Jesus, where else there are another two name bare the same divine in christianity...The Father and The Holy Spirit/Ghost..??
